The stage 3 flythrough - Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2024

  • le mois dernier
Executing a faultless performance is integral if you're wanting to win the stage. Hannah Walker foresees some extremely close margins and favours team pursuit riders and sprinters to be at the top of the standings. The first 3.8km is untechnical and allows riders to lay down the power, whilst the closing stages are technical with plenty of corners. Who will be able to execute both sections and come out on top?

00:00Stage 3 of the Tour de France Famavec Zwift is a 6.3km time trial, starting and finishing in Rotterdam and is the second part of the split stage day after this morning's 69.6km road stage.
00:12This flat individual race against the clock is going to be decided by the closest of margins, so executing a faultless performance is integral if you're wanting to win the stage.
00:22The first 3.8km only have one corner to contend with, giving the riders the opportunity to lay down the power, get up to high speeds and gain momentum.
00:31The final 2.5km have seven corners, and with this being a short time trial, it opens the race up and it doesn't only favour the purists like Kristen Faulkner and Chloe Dygart,
00:41who both in fine form after Olympic team pursuit gold, as will the Olympic time trial champion Grace Brown.
00:47It's also the sprinters who could be in the mix. Watch out for Lorena Wiebes, don't write her off.
