00:50China's activities are expected to be a part of the Philippines' continued aggression
00:57against our rights in the West Philippine Sea.

01:29and act in accordance with international law.
01:32The Foreign Affairs Department was surprised by what happened.
01:36Especially when the Philippines talked to China to ease tensions.
01:41China has always said it wanted to de-escalate
01:44but every time something like this happens,
01:47certainly it tends to raise tensions.
01:49So it's something that certainly we have to pay close attention to.
01:53But that's what they're saying.
01:55We'll have to see if they can really help in maintaining
01:58a more stable relationship to de-escalate tensions.
02:04The Armed Forces of the Philippines insisted that China's actions are dangerous
02:09and this is the first time that the PLA Air Force's airplane lost its flare.

02:21It can hit the propeller or the intake
02:28or it can even burn our aircraft.
02:30It's very dangerous.
02:31Despite this, the AFP will not give up.
02:35The Maritime Patrol will continue its operations in the West Philippine Sea.

02:44and the Philippine Armed Forces will hold a protest against China's actions.
02:50Naturally, we can't let this go even if the public says it's a diplomatic protest.
