00:58Welcome to MTV's Fear Factor, where today is all about the MTV stars.
01:07We have four teams from The Challenge and MTV's new show, Shredders, all trying to compete for $50,000.
01:14But before they do that, they're going to have to conquer their biggest fears.
01:17Let's go.
01:20What's the business, ladies and gentlemen?
01:23Well, first and foremost, let me welcome you all. This is Fear Factor.
01:26Now, today, it's The Shredders versus The Challenge.
01:29So, you know, you guys are all here for a reason, because everybody wants to win $50,000.
01:36Two times.
01:37Here's how MTV's Fear Factor works.
01:39The first challenge is called Beat the Beast, where you'll have to conquer your fear of something creepy.
01:46If you conquer that fear, then you go on to the next challenge, Face Your Fear.
01:52I know what you're most afraid of.
01:54And that particular challenge is tailored specifically to that worst fear.
01:59Once you get past that, only two teams are going to advance to the last and final round, the final fear.
02:07And that's the craziest one of them all. That's the ludicrous one.
02:10And then at that point, only one team standing in front of me today is going home with $50,000.
02:18Absolutely.
02:19Anissa, are you at all worried that your partner over here, Laurel, specifically said that she wishes she could do this by herself
02:25so that she don't have to split $50,000 with anybody?

03:52I want to introduce you guys to some of my other friends.

03:59While the snakes are there, what's up underneath them are some of the most dangerous electric eels on this planet Earth.
04:06That's amazing.
04:07They can send hundreds, if not thousands of volts through your body.
04:12All with the slightest brush.
04:14I call this shock therapy.
04:17Here's the deal.
04:18One of you will have to dig through this box of striking snakes for one puzzle piece at a time.
04:24As soon as you put your hand in there, those snakes will bite you.
04:28Oh, my God.
04:29They're like Internet trolls. They're always pissed off. Always.
04:33Now, once you have a puzzle piece, your partner will have to put their hand in this one
04:38and work that puzzle piece through the maze at the bottom of the tank where all of the electric eels are.
04:43It is your job to get the four pieces into the center and spell the words fear, fact.
04:50But be careful because those eels, they pack a serious punch.
04:54The team that does this the fastest will advance to the next challenge,
04:56and you're going to get something called a fear vantage, which is a little edge in the next round.
05:01The team that does this the slowest goes home licking their wounds.
05:06All right. Now, by random ludicrous selection, Bananas and Leroy, you guys are going first.

05:19I have a reputation for being the winningest challenge champion ever,
05:23so I figure I'm going to step out of my comfort zone and try my luck on fear factor.

19:45because we'll add increasingly terrible combinations
