00:11:40into today's podcast. We have so much to talk about. We're going to start with our top story
00:11:47first. We usually work our way up to that but we're going to start with our top story first.
00:11:53I'm just going to play this clip then we're going to read some headlines and we're going to talk
00:11:57about the world at war. Do you think that we're edging closer or further away from possible
00:12:08regional war? You know someone who flies or sends their militants or their assassins to
00:12:21another capital you know is not shy from waging a regional war. I think we are getting closer to
00:12:30a regional conflict. We are as a matter of fact a regional conflict.
00:12:36All sides say they don't want a war but the region is closer than ever to sliding into one
00:12:42and Hezbollah which western states designate a terrorist organization could well be the first
00:12:49to retaliate. Between doing something that is significant but not triggering the regional
00:12:55escalation that would create something the Middle East has never seen before. A genuine
00:13:00multi-front war involving Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Israel and perhaps even an Israeli and
00:13:10U.S. military involvement against Iran. Well Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah
00:13:15has said more than once that a ceasefire in Gaza will end Hezbollah's involvement in this war.
00:13:22Leaders around the world watching this very closely. Another Israeli airstrike is spiking
00:13:27tensions in the Middle East as fears grow of that wider conflict. At least 80 people are dead after
00:13:32an Israeli airstrike hit a school turned shelter in Gaza. It comes on the heels of another round
00:13:38of ceasefire talks slated for this week. It's one of the deadliest attacks to date in the war that's
00:13:43now lasted more than 10 months. The U.N. Human Rights Office accuses Israel of coordinating
00:13:49quote systematic attacks on schools. Israel says it was targeting a Hamas command center accusing
00:13:55the group of using civilians as human shields. The claim that of Israel that there were military
00:14:01people there is false but even if there was some military person there that does not justify
00:14:06killing women and children in this arbitrary manner. You know the Iranians fundamental to
00:14:11Iranian philosophy of life is destruction of the state of Israel. We should take them at their word
00:14:15on this. They're not actually going to attack or come into conflict with Israel because of what's
00:14:20going on in Gaza. Their reasons are the existence of Israel itself and those transcend anything
00:14:25going on in Gaza. And Iran has vowed revenge against Israel for the killing of a Hamas leader
00:14:31inside its borders. This was an incredibly audacious move by Israel and what happens here
00:14:39has the potential to reshape the Middle East. So that even as we speak the scenario we see is
00:14:46being played out is we just look at what's going on in the Middle East. This existential
00:14:52battle for survival of the Jewish people that their enemies are surrounding them from every
00:14:57front. I mean this war has been is an undeclared war that's going on. They're coming from terrorists
00:15:02out of Syria, out of Lebanon, Gaza, Yemen, aided by China and Russia and things are coming to what I
00:15:10believe is a tipping point. I don't know where that tipping point is. You know the concept of
00:15:14tipping point that you can counter lever something out for so long and then there comes a point where
00:15:20the weight on the end of the board is greater than the weight holding it down and you plummet
00:15:25and go over the edge. We are heading for some kind of tipping point. So that's from our friend

00:16:07me get you up to speed with what Israel just did this morning. IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General
00:16:14Herzi Halivi held an assessment and approved battle plans for the various fronts, the military said in
00:16:22a terse statement on Monday, as the country braced for an attack from Iran and its Lebanese proxy
00:16:29Hezbollah. And I'm reading to you from thetimesofisrael.com.
00:16:35The Chief of Staff emphasized the continuation of high readiness and assessment efforts for
00:16:40attack and defense, the military said. The meeting was attended by the IDF Deputy Chief,
00:16:46Heads of the Intelligence and Operations Dictatorates, Head of the Northern Command,
00:16:51Head of the Air Force, Head of the Home Front Command and other top officers. The assessment
00:16:58came as Fox News reported on Monday, citing regional sources that Iran would launch an attack
00:17:05on Israel within the next 24 hours. The meeting came on the eve of Tish B'Av, the Jewish day of
00:17:13mourning for the destruction of the two biblical temples. And if you listen to last night's bible
00:17:19study, we told you all about the history of Tish B'Av, that is the ninth of Av, and we told you
00:17:27all about how that operates on the Hebrew calendar and what that had to do with the spies that were
00:17:33sent to Canaan, what that had to do with the destruction of the first temple, the second temple,
00:17:39the start of World War I, the Jews being sent to concentration camps, all these things took place
00:17:47on Tish B'Av, which is the ninth of Av this year, it is the 12th and 13th of August. Today
00:17:56is Tish B'Av. So the Times of Israel says the meeting came on the eve of Tish B'Av,
00:18:04the Jewish day of mourning for the destruction of the two biblical temples, set to begin Monday
00:18:10evening. The fast day has been speculated to be the date when Iran plans to carry out the promised
00:18:17attack. If you were listening to our podcast from two Fridays ago, we told you two weeks ago that it
00:18:25was highly likely that the attack was going to come on Tish B'Av, and right now, today, it is
00:18:33Tish B'Av, and all the headlines on every single Middle East website, they are all on pins and
00:18:41needles, they are anticipating this attack. Now, over in Lebanon, the Hezbollah headquarters in
00:18:53Beirut was completely abandoned by early this morning. As the sun came up this morning, Hezbollah
00:19:02had completely abandoned their main headquarters in downtown Beirut, and why would they do that?
00:19:10Well, for the same reason why Iran and Egypt have started to limit flight patterns. They are doing
00:19:18it because they know that the attack is going to come sometime today or tonight. Right now,
00:19:25in the Middle East, in the nation of Israel, it is 7 23 p.m., and you have another five hours
00:19:35for it to still be Tish B'Av in the nation of Israel. Just remember that their day starts
00:19:44in the middle of our day. So Tish B'Av started in Israel yesterday, and it's going to keep going
00:19:55all the way till midnight tonight when it's already Tuesday in the Middle East. So everywhere
00:20:02that you look in the nation of Israel, in every Middle Eastern nation, every single
00:20:12group of people are anticipating that the attack is going to come, and it's going to come on three
00:20:19fronts from the Houthis in Yemen, from Hezbollah in Lebanon, possibly the Syrians, and definitely
00:20:29the nation of Iran. Returning now to the Middle East, CNN analyst and Axios reporter Barak
00:20:38Ravid is now reporting that Iran has indeed decided to directly attack Israel, and though
00:20:45it's not clear when that might happen or what form it would take, the attack could come, he
00:20:50reports, as soon as in the next few days. With us now, CNN military analyst, retired Lieutenant
00:20:57General Mark Hertling, and former State Department Middle East negotiator Aaron David Miller. General,
00:21:04starting with you, what do you expect from Iran as compared to the drone and multi-missile attacks
00:21:09of 300 rockets and missiles that were directed towards Israel back in April from Iran, directly
00:21:16from Iranian territory? Do you expect something similar or something different? You know, well,
00:21:22you can't really say. It could be a spectrum along that line, anything from a massive attack,
00:21:28not only from Iran, but also in coordination with Hezbollah and with other forces in the area,
00:21:34the PMF forces in Syria and Iraq, as well as the Houthis in Yemen. Or could we see just a
00:21:41kinetic strike that's precision and surgical in nature to show Israel and for Iran to show their
00:21:48own population that they are doing something about what struck in Tehran? So it could be anywhere
00:21:54between those two extremes, but I think they have to do something just to appease their own population,
00:22:00but also to show Israel that they are ready to confront them.
00:22:05So nobody really knows exactly what Iran is going to do until they do it.
00:22:12Nobody really knows when the attack is going to start. But I will say this,
00:22:19that the preparations that are happening right now and the things that have been put in place
00:22:26by the nation of Israel, they don't have to say that they anticipate the attack to come sometime
00:22:34today or tonight, because everything that they're doing shows you a nation that is hunkering down
00:22:43and waiting for the bombs and rockets and missiles to fall. That's exactly what the nation of Israel
00:22:51is doing right now. But anything that they do could certainly expand this region into a
00:22:59catastrophic conflict. And that's certainly what Israeli military officials are bracing for right
00:23:06now, as I can tell you, based on briefings that I've had over the past few days. Aaron, there's
00:23:12been some confusion today, as you know, over how Hamas is treating Thursday's scheduled ceasefire
00:23:19hostage release talks. What's your read on the statement they put out earlier today?
00:23:25You know, the worst thing in a negotiation, Wolf, is to tell your negotiating partners that you're
00:23:30in a hurry. And I suspect part of Hamas's calculation is they know that Biden's clock,
00:23:36Netanyahu's clock, and their own clock are not really in sync. The administration wants this
00:23:42done yesterday. And they're evidencing all sorts of signs, which are completely understandable,
00:23:52given how fraught the situation is for the hostages and the prospects of an escalation
00:23:57on the northern front. They know if they could get a ceasefire, it would also come down the north.
00:24:03The problem is that the Biden clock is not synced, it seems to me, either with the Netanyahu clock
00:24:09or the Sinwar clock. And Yahya Sinwar, in Scots in some tunnel somewhere,
00:24:14is making decisions based on what he considers to be Hamas's needs and requirements.
00:24:22So there you have that clip from CNN. I've lived long enough to see CNN go from being the cutting
00:24:31edge gold standard of news reporting to becoming an international joke that promotes fake news
00:24:38the entire time. It's a stunning reversal for a company that was once considered to be the
00:24:46premier cable news company anywhere on planet Earth. But we do like to play clips from both
00:24:54sides. We don't just play Fox News and Sky News. We like to give you what everybody is saying
00:25:01on both sides so that you have a balanced and rounded approach to everything.
00:25:08One of the things that Israel has done over the past couple of weeks that they have not done for
00:25:15a long time is they have been making a systematic strike against the leaders of these opposition
00:25:27groups. And in boxing, there are punches that you can throw that will speed up the fight.
00:25:42And one of those punches that you can throw is a knockout punch, a right cross to the jaw.
00:25:48And if you get the head to go to sleep, the body follows with it. And that's exactly what Israel
00:25:56has been doing. They have been trying to take out the heads of these organizations, and they've
00:26:03been highly successful. And they have gotten a lot of mid-level and high-level terrorists,
00:26:13and they've gotten a whole bunch of leaders at the very, very top, including Ismail Hanea.
00:26:21And that was probably the biggest one of them all. And that is something that we have not seen
00:26:28from Israel in a long, long time. Now, what has America been doing? Well, America, as of last
00:26:38night, the U.S. Department of Defense issued a statement that they are sending massive firepower
00:26:46to the Middle East, a massive amount of firepower.
00:26:52Israel right now is strengthening its infrastructure defense as it faces heightened
00:26:56risk of attacks from Iran or its proxies in the Middle East. This comes as Iran reiterates its
00:27:01pledge to seek revenge for the killing of a top Hamas official in Tehran. Joining us now
00:27:06is Bloomberg's Bobby Ghosh. And we are just getting the latest from The Wall Street Journal
00:27:10saying that the U.S. is planning to send a carrier and a missile submarine to the Middle East in
00:27:14preparation for the retaliation from Iran. Can you just give us a framework for what we're
00:27:20expecting in terms of what the retaliation might look like? Well, so Iran keeps saying it will
00:27:25retaliate. And there was a statement overnight from the Iranian foreign minister to that effect.
00:27:30Again, Iran knows that it can't keep making these statements without actually doing something,
00:27:35because that undermines its credibility at home and with all its proxy militias in the region.
00:27:40It set a bar. Iran set a bar last April when the Israelis took out a senior Iranian commander in
00:27:47Syria. Iran responded for the first time by retaliating from Iranian soil, if you remember.
00:27:53Let me just put that clip on hold. We have some breaking news coming out of Israel.
00:27:58The Jerusalem Post is reporting Hezbollah targets Upper Galilee throughout Monday,
00:28:05and the IDF is striking targets in southern Lebanon. Several rockets were identified
00:28:12crossing from Lebanon into the areas of Ramim Ridge, Metula, and Mount Dove throughout the day
00:28:20on Monday. So far, no injuries have been reported. Earlier in the day, remember,
00:28:27it's not daytime in Israel right now. It is 7.32 at night in Israel. And the Jerusalem Post goes on
00:28:36to say that earlier in the day, the Israeli Air Force struck a Hezbollah launcher in the area of
00:28:44Wardaya in southern Lebanon. Additionally, in the morning, the IAF struck Hezbollah military
00:28:51structures in the area of Shaheen and Jabane in southern Lebanon. The IDF artillery also targeted
00:29:00threats in the areas of Wadi Hamu, Rameh, and Aya Ash Shab in southern Lebanon. So that is breaking
00:29:09news coming through the Jerusalem Post, and rocket fire has already begun to be exchanged
00:29:17between Israel and Lebanon. They fired off 300 missiles and drones in the direction of Israel.
00:29:24It was a bit of a showpiece. They gave Israel plenty of time to prepare. They gave plenty
00:29:28of advance warning. So no actual damage was done, but it was symbolic. But it set a bar.
00:29:34Now the challenge for Iran is calibration. It has to raise the bar. It can't not. This is Israel
00:29:40taking out an important target in Tehran. But at the same time, it has to calibrate in a way that
00:29:47it doesn't set off a war. Iran does not want a war. None of these players want an actual all-out war
00:29:53because the damage from that is far too great. Their economies won't sustain it. So how do you
00:29:59raise the bar without actually getting into a war? The most likely scenario, and all kinds of defense
00:30:04experts are looking out for this, which is that Iran fires off another volley of missiles, maybe
00:30:10more than last time, more than 300 from Iranian territory, simultaneously has its proxies. Hezbollah
00:30:17in Lebanon, Hashd in Iraq, and the Houthis in Yemen all also fire off a volley of missiles and drones
00:30:26and rockets. So it's a much larger aerial attack coming from multiple sides.
00:30:37The challenge then for Israel is, does the Iron Dome, the famous Iron Dome, does the Iron Dome,
00:30:44is it capable of taking this multi-pronged hundreds of missiles from all over the place?
00:30:49One. And then the second challenge is for— I'm going to stop that guy right there. We saw back
00:30:58on April 12th when Iran fired hundreds of missiles and rockets and drones against Israel.
00:31:09Iron Dome was not able to stop them all from coming in. France knocked a few of them down,
00:31:16the UK knocked a few of them down, Jordan knocked a lot of them down, and the United States
00:31:25knocked probably the most of them down, along with Iron Dome. Iron Dome is an amazing invention.
00:31:34It is an incredible piece of end times technology. It has gone a long, long way
00:31:42to keeping the Jewish people safe in the nation of Israel. However, it cannot stop a multi-front
00:31:50attack all by itself. It is just not that powerful. Israel's allies, especially the
00:31:58United States, can we then restrain Israel from going up one more notch? That's the risk. The
00:32:04risk here is not that any of the parties want a war. The risk is that we've reached a stage where
00:32:11any of the parties all too easily and unwittingly can blunder into a war. That's the real risk,
00:32:17that something will happen that pushes everyone over the edge. We are far too close to the edge now.
00:32:24We are far too close to the edge now. And brother, what an understatement that that is. Let me give
00:32:32you some more breaking news coming out of the Middle East. Nope, I gave you that one. Hold on
00:32:38one second. I have a lot of windows open, as you might well imagine. The Jerusalem Post,
00:32:49they just published this just six minutes ago. The United States is concerned by reports Iran
00:32:57is planning to deliver hundreds of ballistic missiles to Russia. That wouldn't be good.
00:33:04The United States is deeply concerned by reports that Iran is planning to deliver
00:33:09hundreds of ballistic missiles to Russia, adding that such a move would represent
00:33:14a dramatic escalation, State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel told reporters on
00:33:22Monday. Reuters reported on Friday that dozens of Russian military personnel are being trained in
00:33:28Iran to use the FATH-360 close-range ballistic missile system. This, according to two European
00:33:35intelligence sources. They added that they expected the imminent delivery
00:33:42of the satellite-guided weapons to Russia for its war in Ukraine. That would not be good.
00:33:50That would be very, very bad. In just a few minutes, we're going to talk about what's happening
00:33:57with Russia and Ukraine. But we have more to unpack with what's happening in the Middle East.
00:34:08Israel right now is. Israeli intelligence believes Tehran is preparing to carry out
00:34:13a major attack in coming days. Defense Minister Yoav Golan says Israel is ready to respond.
00:34:19Well, the growing tension has the United States deploying an unprecedented array of military
00:34:24assets to the region. Chris Pichel reports from Jerusalem. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin
00:34:32ordered the guided missile submarine USS Georgia to the Middle East and told the Abraham Lincoln
00:34:38aircraft carrier to increase its speed to the region. Austin also spoke with Israeli
00:34:44Defense Minister Yoav Golan, who told IDF recruits that Israel is ready.
00:34:50You should know this, that whoever will harm us in a way that he has not acted in the past
00:34:57is also likely to get hit by us in a way that we have not acted in the past.
00:35:03And the IDF has a significant and strong capability. Alex Treiman of JNS.org tells CBN
00:35:10News if and when Iran and its proxies attack, Israel's response will be robust.
00:35:16I absolutely expect a much more robust Israeli response, both because it's expected that the
00:35:22attack of Iran will be larger than the attack in April and there will be a coordinated attack,
00:35:27an attack that includes Hezbollah to Israel's north and possibly the Houthis in Yemen towards
00:35:33Israel's south. So this is this is a coordinated attack. While the United States says that they
00:35:39want to de-escalate tensions in the region, tensions in the region could not be higher.
00:35:42Hamas escalated those tensions when they refused to join negotiations on August 15th that some
00:35:49hoped would lead to a ceasefire. All these tensions come on the eve of Tisha B'Av,
00:35:55one of the most solemn days of the year for the Jewish people. Many fast and remember the Kalem.
00:36:01And just one more time, I want to give you a plug for last night's Bible study. We gave you a very
00:36:11a scripture-based look at the day of Tisha B'Av, which is a day of mourning and weeping
00:36:22for the Jewish people. If you haven't listened to last night's Bible study, we highly recommend
00:36:28that you give it a listen and you will learn why the calendar date of the ninth of Av, known
00:36:35as Tisha B'Av, is such an important date for the Jewish people. And today is Tisha B'Av.
00:36:45Calamities that fell on the Jewish people, like the destruction of the first and second
00:36:51Jewish temples. So it's a day of major Jewish calamity in history. But at the end of times,
00:36:58it's supposed to be that the Tisha B'Av becomes a day of joy. And we know that this war started on
00:37:05Simchat Torah, which is a major Jewish holiday. And the enemies of the Jewish people turn this
00:37:11day of joy, the Simchat Torah, into a day of mourning like Tisha B'Av. So hopefully
00:37:16this conflict will be able to turn Tisha B'Av from a day of mourning into a day of joy.
00:37:20On Sunday, the IDF refuted accusations it targeted.
00:37:24And we'll just stop him there for a moment. If you want to see from the Bible what it looks like
00:37:32when Tisha B'Av is turned into a day of joy instead of a day of mourning, let's just take
00:37:40a quick look at the prophet Zechariah. The prophet Zechariah. And if you want to see
00:37:49what it looks like when Tisha B'Av is turned into a beautiful day, the prophet Zechariah tells you
00:38:00all about it. But the first thing that has to happen is that Jerusalem has to become a cup
00:38:08of trembling. Zechariah chapter 12, verse 1. The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel,
00:38:16saith the Lord which stretches forth the heavens and layeth the foundation of the earth and formeth
00:38:21the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people
00:38:28round about when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that
00:38:35day, the day of the Lord, will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people. All that burden
00:38:42themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together
00:38:48against it. In that day, Tisha B'Av, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment
00:38:56and his rider with madness. And I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah and will smite every
00:39:03horse of the people with blindness. And the governors, verse 5 of Judah, shall say in their
00:39:08heart, the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength and the Lord of hosts their God. Now look
00:39:17down at verse 7. The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of
00:39:25David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
00:39:32In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he that is feeble among them at
00:39:38that day shall be as David, and the house of David shall be as God and as the angel of the Lord before
00:39:45them. Zechariah 12, 9, And it shall come to pass in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations
00:39:54that come against Jerusalem. And turn to Revelation chapter 21.
00:40:03Revelation chapter 21, verse 4, And God shall wipe away all their tears from their eyes,
00:40:10and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain,
00:40:17for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make
00:40:24all things new. And he said unto me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. For the last
00:40:32four thousand five thousand years, Tisha B'Av has been a day of weeping and mourning and lamentation
00:40:40for the Jewish people. But the day is coming, the day of the Lord, where that mourning and weeping
00:40:48and lamentation is going to be turned into joy, and there shall be no more death and no more tears,
00:40:55neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed
00:41:02away. That's what that guy was talking about.
00:41:07Get its civilians when it attacked a meeting of Hamas terrorists, including a top Islamic shahad
00:41:13commander, an area that, according to our intelligence, no women and children were present.
00:41:21You can see in a video published by us today that the compound is still intact and that there is no
00:41:29significant cratering or damage to the main structure of the compound. This pattern of
00:41:35systematic abuse of schools for military activities by Hamas and Islamic jihad endangers both Gazans
00:41:43and Israeli civilians. It must be condemned by the international community in the middle of war
00:41:50and turmoil. And one of the things that Hamas loves to do and what Palestinians like to do
00:41:59is they launch missiles at Israel from launching pads in hospitals and schools.
00:42:08So when Israel goes to knock out those launching pads, they have to blow up the hospital,
00:42:15they have to blow up the school. And then when they do that, Israel suddenly and magically
00:42:22becomes the bad guy. But Israel is not the bad guy. Hamas and the Palestinians,
00:42:29they're the bad guys. Couraging moment for the Jewish state. As the Olympics closed in Paris,
00:42:35Israeli athletes celebrated their best Olympics ever with a total of seven medals.
00:42:42All right, CBN Middle East Bureau Chief Chris Mitchell joins us now. Chris, just a few days
00:42:46ago we were talking Iran may have been backing down. Now they're saying a major attack could
00:42:51come within days. What's behind this shift? Well, you know, it all seems to be like these
00:42:57wars are rumors of wars. We talked about, Andrew, every day, like you said, every day or every few
00:43:01days of conflicting reports. One explanation could be the internal battles going on within Iran
00:43:07itself. Apparently Iran's president saying he wants important to avoid war. The Islamic
00:43:13Revolutionary Guard Corps, on the other hand, wanting to have a large retaliation on the other
00:43:19hand, but they may be counting the cost as well. How to respond to what happened in Tehran without
00:43:24provoking a full scale war. Also, Hezbollah may want to avoid a full scale war, but the rhetoric
00:43:30is there right now. And it could be part of this fog of war as well, Andrew. Nations sending out
00:43:36mixed signals. And sometimes we really don't know what's behind going on behind the scenes,
00:43:41but we do know God does and why it's so important to be praying. Chris, your reporting mentioned the
00:43:46U.S. is bringing in an attack submarine and ordering a battle group to speed up its arrival.
00:43:51What do you make of this military buildup we're seeing? Well, Andrew, it's powerful signal,
00:43:56very rare to announce the president's whereabouts of a nuclear submarine. We know there's a squadron
00:44:01of F-22s. That's a premier fighter for the Air Force. Two carrier battle groups could be a long
00:44:08have ability to have a long air campaign and also signaling to Iran and its proxies not to escalate
00:44:14the situation and that they're ready to defend Israel. Now, for weeks, this has been pointing to
00:44:20Iran timing this around a major Israeli holiday, which starts today. How are the Israeli people
00:44:25responding to all this? Well, they observe this day by fasting 24 hours, very similar to what
00:44:31they do on Yom Kippur. No food or drink. They read from the Book of Lamentations, 10 synagogues.
00:44:36There'll be a prayer vigil at the Western Wall tonight and reflecting on the calamity, calamities,
00:44:41but also the hope and redemption of building the Third Temple and also a number of people praying
00:44:47that this curse would be broken and there'll be mourning that will be turned to rejoicing for the
00:44:52Jewish people and the State of Israel. And we know from a biblical and doctrinal perspective
00:45:00that those days and those events will come to pass, but they cannot and will not come to pass
00:45:09until the end of the time of Jacob's trouble at the second advent of Jesus Christ. That's the only
00:45:18time and place and day that those things are going to happen. Until you get to that point, it's just
00:45:27never going to get there. Chris, just on Friday, you and I talked about the global prayer movement
00:45:33on Israel's behalf. Tell us about the impact it's having and how people can get involved if they'd
00:45:37like to. Well, since we talked, Andrew, I've talked to others and somebody described it sort
00:45:43of like a starter button, but this movement is really multiplying itself, indigenous prayer
00:45:49movements, and then being glued together, really uniting a global prayer. For example, one example
00:45:56people can get involved in is Ernhut, Germany. They may remember this was home to the Moravian
00:46:01prayer movement. It lasted 100 years. It's being live-streamed right now. And really, this is an
00:46:06unprecedented movement. You know, as Paul said, the weapons of our warfare are pulling down
00:46:12strongholds. Derek Prince wrote a great book called Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting.
00:46:20Praying for the Jewish people and praying for the nation of Israel is a good thing. It's an
00:46:25important thing. All Christians should do that, but you do it with the full knowledge
00:46:34that it doesn't matter how much you pray for the Jews and the nation of Israel,
00:46:39doesn't matter how much that you pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and you should,
00:46:44and we do, and I do, and we do at home, but you're not going to stop or turn away or dissuade God
00:46:55from fulfilling end times Bible prophecy. These things have to take place, they must take place,
00:47:05and they're going to take place. So when we pray for the Jewish people, we understand that God is
00:47:12not going to somehow miraculously lift them out of the time of Jacob's trouble. They have to go
00:47:21through it. They have to go through that time period. They have to be face-to-face with Antichrist
00:47:30and they have to make their decision. Are they going to follow the Lord and take the consequences
00:47:37or are they going to opt for the mark of the beast and to have a few short years of
00:47:46peace and prosperity? So when you pray for the Jewish people, and again, you should, and we do,
00:47:54but you have to do it from a biblical perspective. You have to understand that the Jews are going to
00:48:02go through the time of Jacob's trouble no matter what you say or do. So this is all the top news
00:48:11that is coming out of the nation of Israel. Oh, here we are. Iran has prepped missile and drone

00:48:37exact timing of the promised reprisal is still unknown. Team Israel arrives home from the Paris
00:48:44Olympics and the IDF strikes Hezbollah rocket launcher in Lebanon. But let me draw your
00:48:53attention to this from the timesofisrael.com. Iran has prepped its missile and drone units similar
00:49:01to steps taken before Tehran's unprecedented attack on Israel in April, according to senior
00:49:08officials in Washington and Jerusalem. In a post on X, Ravid writes that the officials stressed
00:49:16that neither Israel nor the United States can predict the exact timing of the retaliation attack
00:49:23that Iran has threatened for the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Hanea in Tehran last month.
00:49:30Ravid also quotes a senior Israeli official as saying, quote, the Iranians openly signal on the
00:49:37ground their determination to carry out a significant attack in addition to their public
00:49:43statements that the attack will exceed the one that they carried out in April. Iranian public
00:49:51statements do not reflect any retreat. And in case you missed it, the attack by Iran fired over
00:50:01300 missiles, rockets and drones on the nation of Israel between April 13th and April 14th.
00:50:11They didn't do hardly any damage at all. But that was only because a multinational national force
00:50:21had banded together to help Israel fight off these incoming missile and rocket attacks.

00:59:55So Islam seems to be making a move and they are popping up absolutely everywhere. One of the
01:00:07places that Islam is popping up here in America is in the public school system. And they're not
01:00:17having riots. They're not having terrorist attacks. You know what they're doing? They're having
01:00:24something called World Hijab Day. And what they do is they send representatives into the public
01:00:32school system. And they get all the young girls to try on the hijab. And they make it look nice.
01:00:42They make it look pretty. And isn't it so beautiful, so respectful, so mature?
01:00:53Isn't it a better way to dress than the way that Americans are dressing right now?
01:00:58World Hijab Day coming to a school near you. Hi, I'm Ismahan Abdirahman. I'm from
01:01:07Columbia Heights. I think this is a chance for us to help students understand and be more
01:01:13aware of other cultures. My name is Rahma Mahamud. Today we're having a World Hijab Day
01:01:21to teach a lot of the students at Columbia Heights what the hijab is. And I feel like
01:01:25there's some of the students who don't wear it, don't really know what it is. They just see it.
01:01:29And I feel like they might have questions, but maybe too shy to come up without seeming ignorant.
01:01:34So today is just a day where everybody can just learn what it is, get questions that might be
01:01:38uncomfortable to them out of the way, and just bring our community closer. I'm Lydia Kennedy.
01:01:44I'm a senior at Columbia Heights High School. I guess it's World Hijab Day. So we came over to
01:01:49ask some questions. We were a little bit curious about the hijab. And I guess try on a hijab,
01:01:53and now I get to keep it. So they have decided that it's a whole lot more effective and a better
01:02:02use of their time. Instead of sending martyrs into the public transportation system to blow
01:02:09people up, what they've started to do is send female representatives of Islam into the public
01:02:21school system in America. And they have begun to wrap the heads of our children in the public
01:02:32schools. Can you imagine if they just started handing out Bibles to all the public school
01:02:43system kids? Can you imagine what an unbelievable outrage would be caused by that? Can you imagine
01:02:52if everybody in high school was given a plaster copy of the original Ten Commandments engraved
01:03:02into the plaster that they could take home and put up on their wall? You would have outrage quicker
01:03:10than you could blink your eyes. But they will never do that. They will never allow that because
01:03:17that is hate speech. And that cannot possibly be allowed. But what can be allowed
01:03:30is having our school kids wrapped in a hijab and then applauded and told what a wonderful thing
01:03:38that that is. And don't you look so much more like a modest young lady? And isn't the hijab
01:03:49so pretty and it matches your clothes? And here is a hijab with a floral pattern.
01:03:57That's the selling point. But it doesn't wind up there.
01:04:02You know how it winds up? It winds up with you as the woman being covered in all black
01:04:11from head to toe. That's where it winds up. They don't let you keep the hijab that is just the
01:04:21hijab. You start with that and then there's going to be the shawl, then there's going to be the
01:04:27skirt. And then when you walk down the street, you're going to look like you're a human black
01:04:34trash bag walking down the street. And the only thing that's going to be open is the very, very
01:04:41top with slits for your eyes so you can see where you're going. That's where the hijab ends.
01:04:53And Islam, the word Islam means submission. And once you start submitting to Islam,
01:05:02you will never stop the submission. And you'll have to fight your way out of it. You'll have
01:05:08to fight and die and organize a resistance and a rebellion and an uprising simply to get out of it.
01:05:16And every nation where Muslims are in control, where they're in power, it's always a bad thing.
01:05:26It's always an oppressive thing. And it is the women that bear the brunt of that suppression.
01:05:35The men, they don't have to wear any sort of modesty clothing.
01:05:43They don't have to do any of those things. Now, we play this clip from time to time,
01:05:48and I'm not going to play the whole thing. I'm just going to play a couple of minutes of it.
01:05:53But I want to remind you that this clip was made 20 years ago. And in this clip, it warns about
01:06:02the rise of Islam, something called biological terrorism. And what they do is they go into
01:06:14every single nation and they buy houses, they open up businesses, and they have an
01:06:20unbelievable amount of children. Now, why would they do that? What is biological terrorism?
01:06:29Well, it's something just like this.
01:06:38According to research, in order for a culture to maintain itself for more than 25 years,
01:06:45there must be a fertility rate of 2.11 children per family. With anything less,
01:06:52the culture will decline. Historically, no culture has ever reversed a 1.9 fertility rate,
01:07:00a rate of 1.3, impossible to reverse, because it would take 80 to 100 years to correct itself.
01:07:08And there is no economic model that can sustain a culture during that time.
01:07:14In other words, if two sets of parents each have one child, there are half as many children
01:07:21as parents. If those children have one child, then there are one fourth as many grandchildren
01:07:27as grandparents. If only a million babies are born in 2006, it's hard to have two million
01:07:34adults enter the workforce in 2026. As the population shrinks, so does the culture.
01:07:43As of 2007, the fertility rate in France was 1.8. England, 1.6. Greece, 1.3. Germany, 1.3.
01:07:57Italy, 1.2. Spain, 1.1. Across the entire European Union of 31 countries,
01:08:09the fertility is a mere 1.38. Historical research tells us these numbers are impossible to reverse.
01:08:18In a matter of years, Europe as we know it will cease to exist. Yet the population...
01:08:27So that video was made back in 2004. It was made 20 years ago. Have you looked at England lately?
01:08:39Have you looked at France lately? Have you looked at Spain or Greece lately? And they are absolutely
01:08:47overwhelmed with Muslim immigrants and Islamic immigration. And especially in England, in London,
01:08:58they have a Muslim mayor. And they have the call to prayer five times a day openly in the streets.
01:09:07And everything that you just heard in that clip, those things are absolutely happening
01:09:14all across Europe and in America with things like World Hijab Day. And the Muslims are absolutely
01:09:23in the ascendancy. Absolutely. Tracy is asking American women. Jan Lacker is saying,
01:09:34where are the feminists? Well, the feminists, they only come out when they're
01:09:44promoting a far-left, liberal, anti-American, anti-human agenda. That's the only time
01:09:52that you hear anything from the feminists. We talked... When did we talk about this? On
01:09:59last Friday's podcast, we talked about how... No, I talked about this yesterday in my Sunday
01:10:06service message, about how in women's boxing, you have two people who tested positive for XY
01:10:15chromosomes that would make them a man. And one of those men who participated in women's boxing
01:10:24actually won the gold medal. And these things are sick and they are disgusting. And that's
01:10:34exactly what the Bible is talking about when it talks about the days of Lot and the days of
01:10:46Noah. One more minute of this clip. Population of Europe is not declining. Why?
01:10:54Immigration. Islamic immigration. Of all population growth in Europe since 1990, 90%
01:11:03has been Islamic immigration. France, 1.8 children per family. Muslims, 8.1. In southern France,
01:11:14traditionally one of the most populated church regions in the world, there are now more mosques
01:11:20than churches. 30% of children ages 20 and younger are Islamic. In the larger cities such
01:11:28as Nice, Marseille and Paris, that number has grown to 45%. By 2027, one in five Frenchmen
01:11:38will be Muslim. In just 39 years, France will be an Islamic republic.
01:11:45In the last 30 years, the Muslim population of Great Britain...
01:11:53So we'll stop that clip, but just suffice to say that Islam is absolutely in the ascendancy.
01:12:04And you need to guard yourself against that. Islam does not take prisoners. They are not a
01:12:12passive religion. They are an active, outgoing, aggressive religion. And they don't simply
01:12:20wish to talk you into becoming their followers. When they are in the ascendancy, when they are
01:12:28in control, they will force you by the edge of the sword into Islam. Breaking news, Palestinian
01:12:36President Mahmoud Abbas arrives in Russia to meet with Vladimir Putin. He's out of Palestine right
01:12:44now, very likely because the coming attack on Israel is going to happen soon. So breaking news,
01:12:53Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has left Palestine. He has left Gaza. He has fled,
01:13:01and he is in Russia right now. I'm looking at a video of him stepping off of the plane
01:13:08and greeting his Russian counterparts. Why would the Palestinian president,
01:13:16why would he leave at such a critical moment when his country is about to be involved in a war?
01:13:26Because he doesn't want to be there when the bombs fall. He doesn't want Israel to take him out. So
01:13:34breaking news, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has left Palestine. He has fled the Middle East,
01:13:42and he is now safely in Mother Russia with Vladimir Putin. So you know that something's
01:13:51about to happen. It could even be within the next couple of hours. Now, we still have to talk about
01:13:58the unbelievable spectacle that took place last night at the closing ceremony of the Olympics,
01:14:06but before we do, let me just give you a quick update on Bibles Behind Bars. I told you last
01:14:13week that we started packing up King James Bibles and books for the Obeon County Jail.
01:14:20The Patricio County Juvenile Center, and the Union Correctional Institution, and this summer
01:14:29just might be the summer where we have sent out the most Bibles that we ever have.
01:14:37We just sent 150 Bibles to the inmates at Obeon County Jail in Union City, Tennessee.
01:14:44We are sending Bibles to the inmate youth at the San Patricio County Juvenile Detention Center in
01:14:51Texas, along with a case of What Must I Do to Be Saved, that's 60 copies, by Dr. Bill Grady,
01:15:00and we're sending Bibles, Spanish Bibles, to the Union Correctional Institution in Rayford, Florida.
01:15:07On top of that, here at the bookstore, we have been sending out cases and cases of English and
01:15:15Spanish Bibles to local homeless shelters, and halfway houses, and soup kitchens, and food banks,
01:15:23and every type of place that could use a Bible to give to people who they just need a break,
01:15:31they need a hand up, they need a hot meal, they need a warm clean bed, they need new clothing,
01:15:36and along with all those things, the NTEB bookstore is supplying many local homeless shelters,
01:15:47food banks, and soup kitchens with Bibles to give out along with the free hot food.

01:17:14I'm just going to post a couple of pictures into the chat room
01:17:18so you can see with your own eyes. I don't know about you, but I didn't watch the beginning of
01:17:23the Olympics, I didn't watch one single event, and I didn't watch the closing ceremony except
01:17:32in kind of like a soundbite sort of way on YouTube. But I did not turn on the TV,
01:17:39I did not watch any of these programs, and when I looked at what the closing ceremonies
01:17:48were actually like last night, it was astonishing what I saw and what the entire world saw last
01:18:00night. Now, I want you to think about it like you're the person in charge of promoting the
01:18:08Olympics. That's how I want you to think about it. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Olympics
01:18:16are sporting events. You have shooting, you have archery, you have track and field, you have
01:18:23swimming, you have wrestling, you have mixed martial arts, you have boxing, you have pole
01:18:29vaulting, and long distance running. You have all these different things that are part of the Olympic
01:18:37games. So, what part of any sporting event would you need to represent
01:18:48with imagery that could be taken directly out of the Book of Revelation? What part of that?
01:19:00And when I say the Book of Revelation, last night there was this person dressed up in this gold
01:19:07costume that looked like an insect, and when you go to the Bible and you read,
01:19:16let's just go there for a moment. Turn to Revelation chapter 9.
01:19:23Revelation chapter 9, and the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven onto the earth,
01:19:30and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit, and he opened the bottomless pit,
01:19:35and there arose a smoke out of the furnace as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air
01:19:41were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit, and there came out of the smoke locusts upon the
01:19:47earth, and unto them was given power as the scorpions of the earth have power. And you know
01:19:53what those locusts look like? Verse 7, and the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses
01:20:00prepared unto battle, and their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the
01:20:07faces of men, and they had their hair as the hair of women, and their teeth as the teeth of lions,
01:20:13and they had breastplates as it were breastplates of iron, and it goes on and on talking about these
01:20:20terrifying, disgusting creatures that are coming up out of the bottomless pit.
01:20:30Well, if you would have watched the closing ceremonies of the Olympics last night,
01:20:37you would have seen an insect-like creature that looks very, very much like the locusts from
01:20:47Revelation chapter 9. And dancing around that insect, I don't know what it was supposed to
01:20:55represent, it was gross and weird and creepy and disgusting, but dancing around that insect
01:21:03were all these dancers, and they were wrapped in sheets,
01:21:08and their faces were wrapped, and they looked like the tortured souls from the Ship of the Damned.
01:21:18That's what they looked like. And if that was not enough, you know what the final closing ceremony
01:21:25was? The final closing ceremony, they formed a witch's circle. I kid you not, they formed a witch's
01:21:39circle, and they concluded the Olympics with a satanic ritualistic ceremony to the devil.
01:21:50The Olympics started in a way that caused worldwide outrage. The Olympics lasted for 13 days.
01:21:58The number of 13 is the number of rebellion. And last night, the entire world got to watch,
01:22:10over a billion people got to watch a satanic ritual taking place on live television as Tom
01:22:23Cruz jumped down from the top of the stadium on a repelling line. And you know why they did that?
01:22:32You know why they had Tom Cruz doing that? Because after they showed you the satanic ceremony,
01:22:42nobody's going to walk away talking about the satanic ceremony. They're going to walk away
01:22:48talking about, hey, that was so cool, Tom Cruz just jumped down from the ceiling of the stadium.
01:22:55And that's why they do those things. Everything that they do is carefully crafted.
01:23:03So this is where we stand. We are on the front lines of the end times, and the world is about
01:23:12to watch the entire Middle East inflamed in what could almost certainly become a regional war,
01:23:21if not World War III itself. We will continue to watch. We will continue to keep an eye on these
01:23:29things. And as always, as we have done for the past 15 years, any breaking news coming out of
01:23:36the Middle East and Israel, you will know about it before just about anybody else. Because that's
