00:00John Bisley's love for Malaysia will last forever,
00:04even though his last Olympic victory was with the sweetness of a gold medal as a coach.
00:09In a conversation with Zuhail Mizan Azam,
00:11Bisley confirmed that he wants to stay in Malaysia,
00:13as he has just received the status of permanent resident last month.
00:17Bisley also said that he would give birth to more champions in this sport,
00:20even though he has a new role as the national technical squad coach.
00:26Yeah, hopefully if they still want me, that's the plan.
00:32So I guess it's my last Olympics as a head coach.
00:36So, you know, it's been a great journey for me.
00:40Now, you know, I put all my energy into the new role
00:45and hopefully help move cycling forward to the next level.
00:49There's still so much to do.
00:50So, you know, I want to leave Malaysia in a really good place.
00:54And, you know, that's been my goal right from the start
00:57when I committed to coach Malaysia.
00:59And we're close, but we're not there yet.
01:02So just got to keep working hard, pull things together,
01:05keep getting some funding so that we can keep development going.
01:08And I'm sure we're going to keep producing more and more champions.
01:14Bisley is the backbone of the development of Dato' Azizul Hasiawang
01:18from a teenager to a world-class cyclist.
