Coe considering bid for IOC presidency

00:00I've always made it clear that if the opportunity arose, I would obviously give it serious thought.
00:08The opportunity has arisen, and clearly I need to think about that.

00:25Look, I have been involved in the Olympic movement for the larger part of my life.
00:31I've chaired an Olympic Games from bid through delivery, and two years of legacy after that.
00:44I've been privileged to compete in two Olympic Games.
00:49I've chaired a National Olympic Committee, and I now have the best job in the world.
00:53I'm president of the number one Olympic sport.
00:56So look, these are experiences that if you put together, and other aspects of my life,
01:05I think would be beneficial to the role.
01:09But look, my experiences are clear and probably broader than most, but there are other potential
01:16candidates here who have good qualifications for that role.
01:23There are a diverse group of people, global people, at the International Olympic Committee,
01:28and there are certain candidates who would fit that bill.
