00:00There is no burial happening every night in this cemetery in Noveleta, Cavite

00:05because compared to other places, it seems like there are more garbage being dumped here.

00:11That's why even the dead are probably suffering from this problem.

00:17A complaint was sent to Raracibo, a few residents of Noveleta, Cavite.

00:22They said that their cemetery is already flooded.

00:26It's almost like a garbage dump.

00:28This is where all the garbage is dumped.

00:30You can't go to other places.

00:32It's not right to make this Noveleta Public Cemetery a garbage dump.

00:35The residents of Noveleta, Cavite should be blamed

00:38because it seems like there are more garbage being dumped here.

00:41That's why the dead are being taken to other cemeteries that are almost flooded.

00:50Maybe the dead woke up to complain about this dump, ma'am sir.

00:57One of the residents of Noveleta, Aling Mele, 67 years old,

01:02died in 2018.

01:04She was 43 years old when she died.

01:07I feel bad.

01:09It's just near you.

01:11It's like you're dragging her.

01:13I can't drag her anymore.

01:16But in 2022, her husband's cemetery started to become a garbage dump.

01:21The people who pass by will say that the dead are pitiful

01:27because there's a lot of garbage and the smell is different from the rest.

01:36On the day of the funeral,

01:38Aling Mele visited her ex-husband.

01:42This was her first visit after more than a month.

01:46But when she arrived at the cemetery,

01:48Aling Mele was greeted by a lot of garbage in front of Romy's house.

01:53We're just trying to pass by.

01:56There's no way.

01:58You can't get in.

02:05At first glance, you'd think it's a legitimate garbage site

02:12This place was found in a barangay in Noveleta, Cavite.
