03:54I don't think she's going to be stopped tonight.
03:57The following contest scheduled for one fall is for the NXT women's championship.
04:07Barely. She has taken on all comers.
04:11Tonight she takes on an opponent in Asuka like no other.
04:17Asuka using that speed to her advantage.
04:22What a journey.
04:32Is Bayley perhaps going to tap out here at NXT TakeOver Dallas?

04:46Tonight, validation for Asuka as champion.
04:51The Empress crowned here in Dallas.
04:54Asuka solidified her place at the top of the food chain
04:57when she defeated Bayley to win the NXT women's championship.
05:02That would become a recurring theme for Asuka.
05:06As she kept winning.
05:09Lights out.
05:11Asuka has beaten Bayley.
05:16She's got it.
05:17Tap out. Asuka retains her championship.
05:20And winning.
05:29And winning.
05:32Did you see that?
05:33Nobody can stand close to me.
05:37Who can beat Asuka?
05:38Who can run through everyone?
05:41What a dominant reign it has been for the Empress of Tomorrow.
05:47And after one final classic TakeOver match against Amber Moon.
05:53And Moon forced a tap.
05:55The record reign continues.
06:00Asuka would relinquish the NXT women's championship.

06:53Asuka continued the momentum she built during her historic NXT reign.
06:57Keeping her undefeated streak alive as she tore through the new competition.
07:02It is the longest such streak in the history of WWE male or female superstars.
07:11In January of 2018,
07:13Asuka would complete another of her seemingly countless historical achievements.
07:17Asuka into the Royal Rumble match.
07:28High stakes, high pressure.
07:30Asuka and Nikki Bella both on the apron.
07:41Asuka's going to WrestleMania.
07:44Winning the first ever women's Royal Rumble match
07:47and punching her ticket to WrestleMania.

07:52I will become
07:55Master Women's Champion.
08:00For 914 days,
08:03Asuka has remained undefeated.
08:07And Asuka has all the confidence in the world at this moment.
08:12Oh, they're going for it.
08:13Oh!

08:34Oh my goodness.
08:35This match is an underdog.
08:36Asuka will snap into the figure four.
08:37Trying to break into the figure eight.
08:39And yes, she does.
08:40It's locked in.
08:46Oh my God!
08:47Asuka tapped!
08:49The streak of Asuka is over!
08:53914 days of dominance for Asuka
08:59comes to an end here at WrestleMania.
09:06Despite suffering her first loss
09:08and the end of her incredible 914-day undefeated streak,

09:14And after moving to the SmackDown roster,
09:18Asuka is champion!
09:21Asuka would eventually win her first championship outside of NXT.
09:26But she wouldn't stop there.
09:28Asuka would continue to rack up championships and make history.

09:44And she would win the 2020 Money in the Bank ladder match.
09:48But she won more than just a briefcase to cash in.

10:31And she's not done yet.
10:45Man, I never tire of watching the Empress of Tomorrow.
10:48Her lengthy NXT Women's Championship run was epic.
10:52She never technically lost the championship,
10:54which is ironic considering who's up next.
10:57Checking in at number four is another woman
10:59who never actually lost her championship either back in 2001.
11:02If there was ever a female superstar
11:04who absolutely obliterated stereotypical norms,
11:07it's this next woman.
11:09A true pioneer of the women's division
11:11who broke the mold for the future generation,
11:13this next superstar was deserving of the moniker
11:16the 9th Wonder of the World.
11:28The 9th Wonder of the World,
11:31Chyna!
11:34She says she's the most dangerous woman in the world.

11:59That woman, that huge woman,
12:01is bear-hugging Marlena and shaking her like a rag doll!
12:06In 1997, WWE would be turned on its head
12:11when Chyna first burst onto the scene.
12:14Chyna would send shockwaves through the WWE
12:17when she teamed up with Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

13:09against anyone in the ring.
13:12Look at that!
13:13Unbelievable strength.
13:15She's an absolutely amazing athlete.
13:18She is no doubt the first lady of sports entertainment.
13:24In an era dominated by men,
13:26Chyna would shatter all barriers,
13:28setting multiple first-ever moments in sports entertainment.
13:33The first woman ever to enter the Royal Rumble match.
13:40And there goes Mark Henry!
13:41Chyna has been eliminated by Chyna!
13:46Want a piece of me?
13:47Come on and get you some!
13:50At No Mercy, Chyna would make history yet again
13:54when she faced off against Jeff Jarrett
13:56for the Intercontinental Championship.
14:00Will she be the first woman to wear Intercontinental gold?
14:07Chyna's got the guitar!
14:08Look out, Jeff!
14:09Oh, man! Chyna with the guitar!
14:15Chyna with the guitar!
14:18Chyna!
14:19The first woman to become
14:22the Intercontinental Champion!
14:33Chyna would add another achievement to her resume
14:36when she made her WrestleMania in-ring debut
14:39in front of nearly 70,000 people in Houston, Texas.
14:48A tremendous ovation here in the Reliant Astrodome
14:52for the ninth wonder of the world, Chyna.
14:56Chyna going for the Women's Championship
14:59against Ivory.
15:01This is gonna be a massacre.
15:04Look at Chyna.
15:05She has nothing but revenge
15:08and title aspirations in her eyes.
15:13Hard clothesline.
15:17And the match is all Chyna.
15:20Chyna wants to punish Ivory.
15:24Out of the ring.
15:27Ivory upstairs with nowhere to go but down.
15:32And it is over.
15:33The winner of this bout
15:35and new Women's Champion, Chyna!
15:41Chyna
15:43is the Women's Champion.
15:45She did it at WrestleMania!
15:55A true pioneer in sports entertainment,
15:58Chyna would completely change the perception of women in WWE.
16:08And in 2019, she took her rightful place
16:11in the WWE Hall of Fame
16:13when she was inducted alongside her fellow DX members.
16:18It's time for all of us right now to recognize
16:23one of the biggest, most important members of D-Generation X
16:28that is not out here this evening.
16:34We wouldn't be where we're at or who we are
16:36without the contributions of the ninth wonder of the world, Chyna.
16:44I've broken the mold now.
16:46I've started this new, you know,
16:49something that's never been done before,
16:52not only in sports entertainment and wrestling, but in TV.
16:56I mean, there's not another woman like me.
17:14Chyna truly broke down so many doors for women everywhere.
17:17She was a strong, strong woman, literally,
17:20who dominated what was considered a man's world.
17:23While Chyna redefined what it meant to be a female in the modern era,
17:26there were so many other legendary grapplers
17:28who paved the way for her as well.
17:30We simply couldn't produce this series
17:32without acknowledging some of the all-time greats
17:34who competed in past eras.
17:36And here's just a taste of these strong, influential women.
17:41From Dallas, Texas,

18:52two by two, or all of them at one time.
18:56No telling how long the reign of the Fabulous Moolah will go on.
19:02One minute!
19:05You've got to be kidding me!

20:00What's it gonna feel like when the madness runs wild on you?
20:08I am number one, and I'm gonna stay number one.
20:11You have to have a willingness to do whatever it takes,
20:15and to accept any challenge.
20:17That is Sherri Martel.
20:23A very exciting Rockin' Robin.
20:25With every match, I learn something new.

20:48And this one is Mae Young.
20:51When Mae Young was 18 years of age,
20:53she was wrestling professionally.
20:55She was in Memphis, Tennessee when World War II broke out.
20:58Look at the reaction to Mae Young!
21:01There's been only one Mae Young,
21:03and there will be only one ever.
21:06This summer, we are going to have the Mae Young Classic.
21:10A women's tournament.
21:12Calling it the Mae Young Classic,
21:14I mean, that is speaking volume.

21:24to be here tonight with you fans.
21:27Thank you so much! I love you all!
21:37What a trip down memory lane.
21:39If any of those women were part of what's been defined as the modern era,
21:42I'm certain we would have had at least a few of them make the cut.
21:46Now moving on, we're going to our top three.
21:50Now, perhaps no female superstar ever amassed a cult following quite like this next woman.
21:55Already an accomplished fan favorite,
21:57in 2018, this woman hit a stride that took her to heights never before seen
22:01by a female star in WWE history.
22:04This wave of support was so strong that it skyrocketed her
22:07to the first ever all-female main event in WrestleMania history.
22:11Over the course of her career, this woman has proved
22:14that you don't have to be a man to be the man.
22:26Becky has lived by the philosophy, dare to be different,

22:31and dare to trust yourself to succeed.

24:29Becky Lynch is setting that division on fire.
24:32One of the true players of the divas division on NXT.
24:36In her first year on RAW and SmackDown,
24:38Becky would find herself in line for a shot

25:16Becky Lynch has done it!
25:20Becky Lynch will go down as the first ever SmackDown Women's Champion.
25:27Now there's a saying,
25:28the journey is greater than the destination.
25:31Well, I'll tell you, this destination is pretty freaking sweet.
25:38Great success would not come without great setbacks for Becky Lynch.
25:43But Becky would channel those frustrations
25:46into making a change that would set her on a path
25:49to become one of the biggest superstars in WWE history.
25:54I say that I'm the best,
25:56and there is not a woman on this roster
26:00that can tell me different.
26:03Charlotte Flair deserved the beating that I gave her.
26:07It wasn't supposed to be about Charlotte Flair.
26:10It was supposed to be about me.
26:13It was supposed to be my time.
26:16One thing that I don't have anymore, doubt.
26:20I'm done playing.
26:21From now on, I'm taking it.
26:23Becky Lynch has won the title!
26:26Beating Charlotte Flair proved I am the man.
26:30Becky's new image as the man
26:32would make her the most talked about
26:34and sought after star in WWE.
26:39I wasn't meant to be the talk of the entire industry,
26:44but here I am.
26:52I'm the man!

27:32The following is our main event!
27:37And it is the winner takes all triple threat match!
27:45And here comes the man.
27:49Becky Lynch is the sentimental favorite.
27:53Started it as a small ripple,
27:55it became a groundswell,
27:57and now this movement is taking over the world.
28:00This is what it's all about,
28:02the main event of WrestleMania.
28:09One, two, three!
28:12Becky Lynch! Becky Lynch!
28:16These people know my whole career has been a long shot,
28:19but believe me,
28:20nothing that I have done has been by accident.
28:26Becky Lynch will forever be known
28:28as one of the greatest superstars
28:30to ever step foot in a WWE ring,
28:33and has built a legacy that will be nearly impossible
28:36for any man or woman to match.
28:39I didn't make history by dodging anybody.
28:43I made it by beating everybody.
28:47So I will always persist.
28:50I will always overcome,
28:52and I will always find a way to win in the end,
28:55because I am the man.
29:02Whether she was pumping up the audience
29:04with her Becky Balboa speeches,
29:06or trash talking her way to the main event of WrestleMania,
29:09Becky Lynch always brought that straight fire to WWE.
29:13Coming in at number two is someone
29:15that Becky knows very well.
29:17She's a second generation superstar
29:19with a pedigree that cannot be matched.
29:21Much like her father,
29:22this woman seemingly always has gold around her waist.
29:26A former WrestleMania main eventer
29:28and Royal Rumble winner,
29:30up next is The Queen.
29:41Here comes The Queen!
29:46There are few better in the world than Charlotte Flair.

30:04I told you that this was my destiny!
30:15I cannot help it, I'm both crazy and angry.
30:19I wanna be a dark and evil queen.

30:27Genetically superior.
30:29Bow down to The Queen!
30:35You'll respect me when I'm taking this crown.
30:41Appropriately from the Queen City,
30:44Charlotte Flair was bred for greatness.
30:47Vowing to leap out of her father's shadow,
30:49Charlotte was first introduced to WWE audiences in NXT.
30:55She has height, size, speed, athletic ability.
30:58She is the total package here at NXT.
31:01Charlotte is paving her own path
31:03and paving a mighty successful one, mind you.
31:06Oh, natural selection!
31:09Charlotte into the cover on Natalya!
31:12Charlotte's NXT Women's Champion!
31:16I'm setting the bar,
31:18and everyone else has to rise to my level.
31:22It became immediately apparent
31:24that Charlotte would be breaking molds
31:26and shattering glass ceilings in WWE.
31:29All while being at the forefront of the Divas Revolution
31:32on Raw and SmackDown in July 2015.
31:36Within two months,
31:38Flair would end Nikki Bella's record 301 days
31:41as Divas Champion.
31:43Charlotte wins the title!
31:45Charlotte's a champion!
31:47Built upon the backs of superstars like Charlotte Flair,
31:51women's wrestling was becoming a main focal point
31:54of WWE television.
31:56The days of the Divas had ended,
31:58and with it came a new title,
32:00the WWE Women's Championship.
32:04And at WrestleMania 32,
32:06in front of over 100,000 fans,
32:09Charlotte would battle Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks
32:12in the biggest match of their careers.
32:18This is for the WWE Women's Championship.
32:22Triple threat rules.
32:24It's every superstar for themself.
32:29As if these three women needed any more reason
32:32to up the ante in this matchup.
32:35You got a chance to make some serious history tonight.
32:43Charlotte going up top.
32:45Charlotte on the top rope.
32:46Moonsault! Moonsault by Charlotte!
32:49Down go Becky and Sasha!
32:52This could be the greatest athlete we've ever had
32:55as a WWE Women's Champion.
33:01I think we're seeing the greatest era
33:03of the women's division in history.
33:08Charlotte gonna send Sasha flying out of the ring.
33:12Figure eight, what's Becky gonna do?
33:15What's Becky gonna do?
33:16Becky tapped out.
33:22And there is the WWE Women's Champion.
33:29What a sight.
33:31The celebration of a new era in WWE.
33:37A groundbreaking moment for Charlotte.
33:45The queen was indeed making history wherever she went.
33:49After successfully competing in the first ever
33:51Women's Hell in a Cell match.
33:53Charlotte stands tall.
33:55Flair would go on to face another challenge
33:57at Wrestlemania 34 where she attempted to end
34:00the 914 day undefeated streak of Asuka.
34:05Who will reign supreme?
34:07The queen or the empress?
34:09Charlotte Flair with a strong gymnastics background
34:12but this is dangerous.
34:13Oh my God!
34:14That is flying!
34:18It's locked in.
34:20Oh my God!
34:21Asuka tapped!
34:22The streak of Asuka is over!
34:26But the queen wasn't done yet.
34:28Just one year later, she would be one of three women
34:31to main event on the grandest stage.
34:35Charlotte Flair was built for the spotlight,
34:38built for the grand stage.
34:40Looking to add even more accolades to her already

35:01to reclaim her throne.
35:05Deciding to return to her roots,
35:07the queen challenged Rhea Ripley for the
35:09NXT Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 36.
35:15This is exactly where Charlotte Flair wants to be.

35:21no choice but to tap.
35:24The queen is NXT Women's Champion again!
