Once a Cold War military base, Albania's Sazan island is anticipating a makeover after Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former US president Donald Trump, unveiled plans alongside his wife Ivanka Trump to revamp it with a touch of luxury. Excitement is palpable in some quarters: "Kushner's project will revive the island of Sazan. It will protect it and develop it," says sailor Baci Dyrmishaj.

01:16Right now, there is no weapon, no grenade launcher, no cannon, no anti-aircraft gun,
01:22no artillery.
01:24Usually, Kushtneri will be destroyed.
01:43So, we hope it can start as soon as it can, because it helps.
01:47It helps because we see the internal economy of this city as a chain reaction.
01:52So, any new development can help also other businesses to develop.
