ARMS 83 - Musicians Collaborating & Tulsa Time
The musicians or the ARMS Concert 1983 tell us who they've played with before and who they're looking forward to playing with, leading us into the beginning of the Encore with Tulsa Time, with Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck all playing on stage for the first time ever.

00:00We weren't even sure that we should be doing it really, we didn't know whether we were
00:08going to fit in, you know.
00:10Different every time, isn't it?
00:12I've worked with Eric of course in a few bands, Kenny Jones and Charlie, done the odd overdub
00:22on Stones records and things all the time over the years here and there, but some of
00:28them not, you know what I mean, but mostly, yeah, Ray I've worked a lot with on sessions.
00:32I've always wanted to play with Eric, so now I have.
00:35I've played with Geoff.
00:37I've done sessions with Bill and Charlie, I've worked with Chris Stainton.
00:48I've worked with, most of them at various points, you know, singly, but never all together
00:54in a mass like this.
00:56I've done sessions with Geoff, I've done sessions with Jimmy.
01:00I think just Eric, Jimmy I've never, except for the Yardbirds, the early days.
01:06I think the thing with Geoff and Jimmy and me, I suppose, is something that everyone
01:09wants to see, because we've never actually been on stage together.
01:14A few sessions with Eric, Charlie and myself, and a few with Steve Wynwood, but apart from
01:21that I've never played with anybody else.
01:23There's a whole bunch of my teenage idols in here I'm playing with.
01:30It's nice to actually have the electricity pulsing through again, and that's certainly
01:35set my adrenaline going tonight.
