00:00Tropical Storm Debbie is heading up the East Coast after making landfall for a
00:03second time. Heavy rain has caused dangerous flooding and deadly tornadoes.
00:07Search and rescue teams found a body in North Carolina raising the death toll to
00:12seven victims. Fox's Chelsea Torres has the very latest. North Carolina residents
00:18waking up to tornado warnings Thursday as Tropical Storm Debbie has made a
00:23second landfall. In Wilson County, a tornado touched down, destroying a
00:27two story home, forcing it to collapse on itself. More homes ripped apart in
00:32other parts of North Carolina as tornadoes came through
00:37wind, whipping up waves on Surfside Beach in South Carolina as some people
00:42were out walking in the storm. Debbie is expected to keep moving inland,
00:46bringing with it heavy rain. Flooding could be a problem across parts of South
00:50Carolina and North Carolina. Residents say you have to be resilient. We have no
00:56control. We just take it and just enjoy it. The good and the bad. Take a
01:00look at this car caught up in brown flood water in North Carolina from the
01:04sky. The road looks like a river.
01:08A dangerous situation is unfolding in Georgia, where at least four dams were
01:12breached northwest of Savannah in Bullitt County. Tropical Storm Debbie
01:16dumped about a foot of rain in this area. All the Bullitt County Sheriff's
01:20deputy have said that they've never seen anything like this, and we haven't
01:24seen anything like this before, and I've lived here for 30 33 years as
01:28Debbie continues to move portions of Virginia bracing for heavy rainfall as
01:32well. Officials giving away free sandbags to help people protect their
01:36homes. I'm just trying to be cautious about getting through sand to prevent
01:41flooding in my cellar. Forecasters say residents as far north as Vermont could
01:45get several inches of rain this weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm Chelsea
