Brazil legend Marta has one chance left to win an Olympic gold medal - but the mighty USA stands in her way

00:00I've always looked up to her. I think we all kind of do. She's a legacy forever.

00:37And I think that, of course, having the knowledge of winning helps in terms of build confidence,

00:46but I don't think it's any advantage.

00:48You get to see a different kind of football when she's on the field and the special qualities

01:03that she brings, I think, has just been an inspiration for so many young boys, girls

01:08all over the world. So what she's brought to this game, I mean, you can't really put

01:15into words.

01:16Whenever I would watch highlights of players with my dad, it was always Marta. So to be,

01:22I mean, we get to play against her in the NWSL, which we're really lucky for that. And

01:26to play against her in this game, in this magnitude of a game, I think is so special.

01:31And I know she would want us to give her our best game. That's the highest level of respect

01:38you can give someone.

01:47Of course we want to give this final to Marta. She deserves it. Everything she did for women's

01:54football, I think it's much more than deserved. She's playing in a final and has this opportunity

01:59to win the gold medal. Because everything she did, as I said, she gave visibility, she fought

02:06in her own way for women's football. I think she deserves this final very much.
