Leeds reflects on driverless taxis

Uber has launched a new partnership which will see 100,000 driverless cars coming to Europe. How would you feel about taking a taxi with no one behind the wheel?

00:00The idea of getting into a driverless car fills me with absolute horror.
00:07I certainly couldn't get in one.
00:10It's alright saying that they'll be driverless,
00:13but like people have said, what will happen to all the jobs then,
00:18for all the taxi drivers?
00:21I think it'll cause more chaos on the roads,
00:23because already there's enough accidents now, I think.
00:26If there isn't a driver, people are going to mess around in it
00:29and there's not going to be anyone watching them.
00:32I think a lot of us would want to try it with our friends.
00:35It would be cool, that's what we would think.

00:38I feel bad for the taxi driver, really, because they're losing their job.
