00:29:18If you remember, Ann, was this past May,
00:29:21under siege when we saw the return of Jonathan Gresham,
00:29:24and he was very, very different.

00:29:30We saw Jonathan Gresham, not in this form,
00:29:33but in something completely different,
00:29:36masked, puffing up this ink-like substance.
00:29:39That night at under siege,
00:29:40Gresham put on a very disturbing display
00:29:43and defeated Kushida.
00:29:44These two were supposed to clash in the rematch
00:29:47on the countdown to Slammiversary last month.
00:29:50Unfortunately, Gresham was unable to make it
00:29:53due to the global IT travel issues
00:29:56that were incurred that weekend.
00:29:58So now we get the matchup
00:29:59we've been waiting for between these two.
00:30:01However, this is not the Jonathan Gresham
00:30:03that we have been expecting for quite some time.
00:30:06Gia Miller was able to speak to Gresham,
00:30:08who claims to have no memory of what's been happening,
00:30:12says he's been very sick as of late.
00:30:14Yeah, it's strange to say,
00:30:16but almost as strange as it was
00:30:18to see that new incarnation
00:30:20that we saw of Jonathan Gresham
00:30:22over the last several weeks,
00:30:24the ink, the octopus incarnate.
00:30:26It's almost stranger now to see him just come out here
00:30:30as the Jonathan Gresham of old,
00:30:31as if nothing's happened.
00:30:33It is bizarre, and at the same time,
00:30:35you have to look at this in a vacuum.
00:30:37Jonathan Gresham, the man we know,
00:30:39is a brilliant wrestler.

00:36:49They're supposed to clash at Slammiversary.

00:37:15technical wrestlers on the planet.
