00:00It could be you, Mrs. Daryl Ray from Fort Bridge, Wyoming.
00:07It could be you, Mr. Nolan Connell from Clinton, Utah.
00:13Or wherever you live across the United States.
00:16It could be you.
00:19It's America's Show of Surprises.
00:21Brought to you by New Liquid Prel,
00:25the shampoo that's extra rich
00:27to leave your hair looking radiantly alive.
00:31And by Ivory Salt, advised by more doctors for baby skin and yours.
00:36And now, here's your Master of Surprises, Bill Layden.
00:50Wonderful audience tonight. Thank you, Wendell Niles.
00:53Welcome to It Could Be You and So Many Surprises.
00:56And are we fortunate tonight, we have a famous producer in our audience.
01:00Let's see if our cameras can find him.
01:02Now this producer, I'm glad to say, is bringing back the double feature.
01:06And it could be you, we're talking about Staff Sergeant James Busby of San Francisco.
01:11Come on on stage, I want to talk about your career.
01:23Oh, you're quite a producer.
01:25It's wonderful to have a man of your caliber on stage here.
01:28Now, when I mentioned you in connection with the double feature,
01:31you got that grin on your face.
01:33Would you explain to the audience what I'm talking about?
01:35I think you know.
01:36I've got two sets of twins.
01:39Yes, but the important thing,
01:41you have fathered two sets of twins in ten months' time, right?
01:44Yes.
01:52Of course, I mean, I don't know why you applaud.
01:54That's the service influence.
01:56You always do things on the double, right?
01:59Now, Sergeant, we know that you live 400 miles from the studio
02:02and want to thank the Air Force for helping us trick you into the studio tonight.
02:05We know that you and your large family are living in a two-bedroom apartment.
02:08Having four of a kind makes a full house with you, doesn't it?
02:13Of course, you probably don't play that game, being in the service.
02:19By the way, do you know, do you actually know scientifically
02:22the odds on having two sets of twins in ten months?
02:25No, I don't.
02:26Well, we checked the insurance companies for statistics,
02:28and there are really no odds.
02:30No one's ever looked this up before.
02:32But most of them agreed that the odds are about
02:35more than 25 million to one.
02:38Now, this is the statistics we received.
02:43Now, I know your wife's name is Anita.
02:46Where is she right now?
02:47She's in California.
02:49She's at home.
02:53You know, Anita, your wife, where's home?
02:57It's at Rafael Village in Novato.
03:00Right near San Francisco, isn't it?
03:01Yes, sir.
03:02Well, get set for another surprise, Sarge, and that's what you think.
03:04Carol flew her to Hollywood this afternoon, and here she is.
03:07Come on out here, honey.
03:17All right, now, it's enough of this mush now.
03:19Come on, I'll say.
03:22Anita, I know that you have a little secret,
03:25another surprise for Jim.
03:26Would you care to tell him now?
03:30What?
03:33Anita, suppose you tell the audience
03:35what you've just told your husband.
03:38I couldn't get a babysitter.
03:41Couldn't get a babysitter, that's right.
03:43We couldn't get a babysitter.
03:44It scared them all off.
03:46But we got them down here,
03:47and here are your four wonderful children.
03:49Let's bring out these babies.
04:00Here's Diane, Denise, and there's John and Joseph
04:03over there sacking it out.
04:04The girls are older.
04:06If you could only see the beautiful red hair in this.
04:08Jim, how does it feel to go from just the two of you
04:11to a family of six in less than a year?
04:14We didn't have too much time to think about it.
04:16Didn't have too much time to think about it.
04:18I understand that you...
04:20You've been praying for a dry winter.
04:22Why is my winter dry?
04:26We use about a hundred diapers a day.
04:28A hundred diapers a day?
04:30Well, Sergeant, we know that you and Anita
04:32are doing a wonderful job managing your big family,
04:34and you've made those GI checks really stretch a long way.
04:37But just in case it might not be a dry winter up there,
04:40use this.
04:41Wendell, if you please.
04:43We have this for you.
04:45Take care of your laundry problems.
04:47The new O'Keefe & Merritt washer-dryer combination.
04:52This is the push-button one with a steady speed.
04:54That means no vibration.
04:56It's going to make your wash days a holiday,
04:58which will be every day for you.
04:59It's fully automatic, particularly in drying diapers.
05:02You like that, honey?
05:04You like that?
05:05Of course you do, sweetheart.
05:07Now, Anita, I know you've really had to scramble around
05:09getting baby furniture for the kids.
05:11All of a sudden, we have four children, don't we?
05:13Now, you can return all the stuff you've borrowed.
05:15I understand you've borrowed here and there and everywhere,
05:17because you now have your own.
05:18Take a look at this.
05:20Take a look right here.
05:27That's all from Storkline.
05:29They make us a fine baby furniture.
05:31That's the gliding side crib,
05:32and it operates as quiet as a kitten.
05:34It has those patented silo-drop sides.
05:36And then to go with the crib,
05:38there's the beautiful Storkline chevrove over there.
05:40And when you open the drawers,
05:42you'll find they are filled with a complete baby layette.
05:46Everything you need.
05:47And then there's the new Storkline fold-away feeding table.
05:51See there?
05:52There's no better line than Storkline.
05:54And I know what you're thinking right now.
05:56We'll have three warming up while the other are in it.
05:58And there's also the deluxe bath and net
06:00and the baby scales to go along with that.
06:02And by the way, we have thought of this too, Anita and Jim.
06:06One of each won't be enough.
06:08So we're going to send you four cribs,
06:10four chevroves, and four feeding tables.
06:13Is that all right?
06:17All right, Sergeant.
06:21And another little thing.
06:23Everything you see here with the exception of Wendell is yours.
06:26We're sending you also these two twin Storkline perambulators are yours.
06:30Now all you have to do is to make the sidewalks wider on your block.
06:34These are beautiful children,
06:35and you should be very, very proud as we are for you.
06:38I know that you're going to have just a world of happiness,
06:40and it's been a double treat to leave surprising you,
06:42and it could be you for all of us.
06:58All right, now who would like to go for a ride in the carousel?
07:00Anyone in our audience?
07:03Yes, it could be you then, our beautiful prel girl, Trudy Rowe.
07:07And it is.
07:08So what do you say?
07:09Let's take a ride.
07:10Let's go.
07:33There's no other shampoo like Liquid Prel.
07:36Liquid Prel is extra rich.
07:38That's why it leaves your hair looking radiantly alive.
07:42How gloriously different Liquid Prel is from thin, watery, and wasteful shampoos,
07:47or thick, sticky ones that can actually dull your hair.
07:50Wonderfully different, Liquid Prel is extra rich.
07:54Every emerald green drop bursts into luxuriously rich lather
07:58that leaves your hair looking radiantly alive,
08:01and you feel so radiantly alive.
08:04Thanks to Prel, Liquid Prel, the extra rich shampoo.
08:12And you certainly are lovely, Trudy.
08:14Oh boy, wait in the car, will you?
08:16It's that Marmon outside, the 1926 Marmon.
08:21Are you enjoying our show?
08:22Yes.
08:23Good, I'm delighted, delighted.
08:24And now I'm looking for a pair of youngsters
08:26who have just sent out announcements on their 50th wedding anniversary.
08:32Yes, it could be you, Mr. and Mrs. George Witheridge of San Fernando, California.
08:36How are you, sir?
08:37Good morning.
08:39How are you, sweetheart?
08:40Fine.
08:42When will...
08:44When will your 50th anniversary be?
08:46Tomorrow.
08:47Tomorrow's your 50th anniversary?
08:49Well, that's just a few hours from now.
08:50Let's go down on stage and talk about it, shall we?
08:52Come on down.
08:53Over here.
09:04You're all right, sir, but I'd rather have the pretty one stand next to me.
09:08I know what I'm doing.
09:1050 years together, that's a wonderful, wonderful record.
09:13Does it seem like 50 years?
09:14No, it doesn't.
09:15Now, Mr. and Mrs. Witheridge, I want you to take a look at our special television set here.
09:19I want to show you a picture taken on your wedding day 50 years ago in Saginaw, Michigan.
09:25Sure, that's it.
09:27September 11th, 1908.
09:29That's right.
09:30Now, where did you two newlyweds go on your honeymoon?
09:33Nowhere.
09:34We didn't have a honeymoon.
09:35I know it.
09:36You were a coal miner at that time, weren't you, sir, in Michigan?
09:38You had no money, and the very night of your wedding, your brother got sick,
09:41and Mr. Witheridge spent the whole honeymoon night walking to town to get a doctor.
09:46And it was a long walk, I know.
09:48Now, since that time, four generations of Witheridges have come along, and there they are.
09:53Wonderful family, too.
09:55That picture?
09:56A lovely picture.
09:57Now, that nice man there in the wheelchair happens to be your son-in-law.
10:02That's right.
10:03I know that 11 years ago, he suffered severe spinal injuries in an accident
10:07and hasn't had the use of his arms or legs since that time.
10:10Even though your daughter, his wife, works, she hasn't been able to support completely her husband and two children.
10:16And we know there have been over $30,000 in medical expenses.
10:20It's been a tough pull, hasn't it, Mrs. Witheridge?
10:22It sure has.
10:23So at a time of life when you folks are entitled to take things a little easy,
10:27you willingly took on the responsibilities of a family for the second time.
10:30Now, Mr. Witheridge, what do you do for a living, sir?
10:33I'm a florist.
10:34I know that you have a rather small florist shop in San Fernando, a small town north of Los Angeles.
10:41And I hear that you now and then slip an extra flower or two into wedding orders
10:45for people who can't afford a big bouquet without saying a thing.
10:48That's just the way it is.
10:49We'll find out.
10:50Sure does.
10:51And your daughter keeps telling you, Dad, you and Mom are never going to take a honeymoon trip that way.
10:55You've got to save a little.
10:57Well, Mr. and Mrs. Witheridge, we have a golden anniversary present for you.
11:01Wendell, the present, please.
11:04Happy Golden Anniversary.
11:13It's probably a little difficult to read in the camera.
11:15Is it good to eat?
11:16You just dip a finger in there.
11:20You don't mind?
11:21Is it good?
11:22It says right there, Happy Golden Anniversary.
11:25And what do you know, it looks like the bride and groom have gifts for each other.
11:30Let's see.
11:31This must be the groom's gift for the bride.
11:36Now let's see what we could have here.
11:39I know something you've wanted for 25 years.
11:41Your young bride has been wishing for a watch that would keep time.
11:45So the groom has for you this beautiful 23-jewel Boulevard Empress diamond encrusted just for you.
11:51Beautiful.
11:52So are you.
11:55Now let's look over here.
11:56You must have a gift for the groom.
11:59Pink ribbon.
12:00Leads down here.
12:03An envelope.
12:04All right.
12:07Now, I know that for 50 years you've been doing nothing but talking about your honeymoon trip.
12:13And you've never been able to go.
12:15And we know that you've always wanted to go to Hawaii.
12:18So the bride's gift to the groom is a honeymoon trip to Hawaii on your 50th anniversary.
12:24You're going to love it.
12:29And here, it says it's all down here.
12:31You're going to fly.
12:34You're going to fly to and from sunny Hawaii.
12:36You'll be staying at Waikiki's finest hotel, the fabulous Henry J. Kaiser's Hawaiian Village.
12:41Now whether you leave tomorrow or spend Christmas in Hawaii, it's all up to you.
12:45You'll never forget your week at the fabulous Hawaiian Village, Hawaii's most luxurious hotel.
12:50Oh, something else in the envelope was sort of tucked in there.
12:53A little check for $250 for those incidental expenses.
12:57You may want to get a wild shirt or something.
12:59And you may want to get one of those things when they dance, you know.
13:03Wouldn't I look pretty?
13:04You certainly would.
13:05You have a wonderful honeymoon.
13:07You've earned it.
13:08And may you enjoy many more happy, healthy years together.
13:22In a moment, we're going to have one of the most dramatic surprises we've ever done on A Good View.
13:26First, how many of you sometimes think that you have a split personality?
13:30Well, let's take a look at a gal who admits it.
13:34I have a split personality.
13:36There's my pleasure-loving side and my practical side.
13:40But we get along fine together.
13:43Especially when it comes to personal side's ivory.
13:46So white.
13:48Looks pure.
13:49Even smells pure.
13:51My pleasure-loving side adores it in the bath.
13:55The ivory won't get lost.
13:57It floats.
13:58Gives you suds faster than any other leading bath soap.
14:01You lie back, cushioned in gentleness.
14:04Ivory gentleness.
14:06This personal side of ivory soap makes a bath pure pleasure.
14:11Meanwhile, it pleases my practical side.
14:15You see, four cakes of personal side ivory cost no more than three cakes of other leading bath soap.
14:20It's like getting one cake free.
14:23For practical purposes and pure pleasure, personal side ivory is your best buy.
14:29Get four cakes and save.
14:33We're going to surprise a man, right now,
14:36who took part in one of the most dramatic, exciting adventures to come out of World War II.
14:41A fantastic story of the crew of a B-24 bomber.
14:45A four-engined heavy bomber at that time that knocked the daylights out of the enemy.
14:50This one was shot down by Japanese anti-aircraft in the jungles of Mindanao in the Philippine Islands in the year 1945.
14:57The B-24 shot down over Mindanao was named, ironically, I'll Get By.
15:02But thanks to a miracle and the courage of the pilot,
15:05all 11 men in that plane are alive today.
15:09And we tricked that pilot into the studio tonight.
15:11It could be you, former Captain John Lampe.
15:13Taxi down here, sir. I want the captain to meet you.
15:36Welcome to the old B-25 pilot.
15:38How are you?
15:41We surprised you. Now, you were air corpsman.
15:44John, I know you live now in Southern California with your wife and two children.
15:48We had quite a problem keeping the secret from you.
15:50Now, I'm going to show you something that will bring back memories.
15:52The crew of your plane, of I'll Get By.
15:55There you are, see in the back on the left, standing?
15:58That was taken shortly before your last mission, wasn't it?
16:00Right.
16:01I know your plane struck. It caught fire.
16:03The controls were just about shot away.
16:05But you held a course.
16:07You stuck to the ship and held a course while all your men bailed out, one, two at a time.
16:11You were a good captain. You were the last man to leave the ship.
16:13How close to the ground were you when you finally hit the silt?
16:18Oh, maybe 2,000 feet.
16:19Looked pretty close. It was getting closer all the time.
16:22And they had a little game there.
16:24The Japanese soldiers were giving you a bit of a bad time on the ground, weren't they?
16:29I'm a little shaky, Dan.
16:33They had a little thing called Pop the Flying Americans and they were shooting at you.
16:37I know you and your men were floating down in probably the worst spot in the world.
16:40You could have landed.
16:42You were coming down right over a prisoner of war camp, a delightful little Japanese colony.
16:47DeVal, a lovely place.
16:49Yeah.
16:50But as all your men were floating down in parachutes, a miraculous change in air currents caused you to drift.
16:56And you drifted your men right past the camp.
16:58Although one of them, Sergeant Swain, landed about 30 yards outside the camp.
17:01That's correct.
17:02How'd you make out? Where'd you land?
17:04Lord only knows.
17:06Maybe two miles from there.
17:08Two miles from there.
17:09But you were up to here in tropical growth.
17:10That's right.
17:11I know right in the dense jungle, you actually were about a mile from the camp.
17:14I know that for days in this dense...
17:15Are you shaking?
17:16No, I'm not.
17:17I'm nervous.
17:18You all right?
17:28If you touch a malaria, I'll be all right.
17:32I wasn't worried about four-engine men.
17:33I know that for days you fellas had nothing to eat.
17:37You had hunger, the fever, malaria, and exhaustion.
17:40But one by one, after two weeks in the jungle, all 11 men were rescued right under the guns of the Jap searching parties by the wonderful Filipino guerrillas.
17:49Those were tough guys, weren't they? And they were wonderful.
17:51I bet you were glad they were around, weren't you?
17:53Positively.
17:55I know the enemy did not capture a single man of your crew.
17:58That's true.
17:59They all evaded them.
18:00Now, where did the Filipino guerrillas take you, and what did they do for you?
18:04Well, they simply picked us up piecemeal, packed us to their garrisons and whatnot, and that was about it.
18:15Eventually, the Navy came in and picked us up.
18:17I know that they fed you, they gave you medicine, what little they had.
18:20Correct.
18:21They were the finest people in the world.
18:22But they sacrificed their own food for you.
18:24That's correct.
18:25I know how grateful you were to those wonderful Filipino people.
18:28And here to tell us about it, it's going to be a surprise for you.
18:31From Concord, California, your bombardier on the I'll Get By, Captain Jim Smith.
18:36You haven't seen this boy in a long time.
18:38Look right here.
18:48Boy, Smitty, Lampy didn't forget the Filipino people, did he?
18:51No, he sure didn't.
18:52He always was a kind of a tender-hearted guy.
18:54Are you shaking?
18:55Huh?
18:59When he got back, he had to do something about it.
19:01So he started scrounging, filching, pilfering, talking to supply sergeants.
19:07Before we knew it, we had a mountain about two tons high out in front of our tent.
19:13Food, supplies.
19:14Food, supplies, medicine, everything.
19:16It took three airplanes to fly it back to the little village, and they dropped it off in the village where we were rescued.
19:22I think you fellows might enjoy seeing a picture of the surprise party celebrating your safe return.
19:26Take a look at our television set there.
19:28Now, Smitty, that's a picture of the enlisted men there, isn't it?
19:31Yes, it is, but we all had a job to do.
19:34Lamp was a kingpin, but when we were on the ground, we were all buddies.
19:38Now, I'd like to show a picture of the officers at the same party while they were still standing up there.
19:44The cook couldn't bake one cake big enough for all of you.
19:48Wait, John, let's see.
19:49One, two, three, four.
19:50I see five officers in this picture.
19:51Your plane carries only four officers.
19:53Well, we had, uh...
19:54Who's the fifth man?
19:55We had the, uh, squadron navigator on board.
19:59Oh, was this tough an assignment, huh? It's a big job.
20:01Well, we were the lead ship, no?
20:02Who was this?
20:03Our ship.
20:04Uh-huh.
20:05Uh, Captain Penrose.
20:07Oh, I know. He parachuted into the jungle that day, too.
20:09Yeah, he was the 11th man.
20:11Ordinarily, you don't carry him, but, uh, he was on board just for...
20:15Well, I know that he's in business down in South America now.
20:18How long's it been since you've seen him?
20:21I know.
20:25Are you sure you didn't bring this from the jungle? What if...
20:27How long since you've seen this, uh, Captain Penrose?
20:30I guess, uh, 13, 14 years.
20:33Well...
20:34I got a letter from him, but, uh...
20:36Well, Prell wants you buddies to have a visit again,
20:38so we flew Captain Julian Penrose all the way from Sao Paulo, Brazil,
20:42and here he is. Come out here, Captain.
20:44There's your buddy.
20:50He's a real guy.
20:55How about that, huh?
20:56Now, I know that you...
20:57John?
20:58You three fellows must have a lot to talk about, right, Julian?
21:00We do, indeed.
21:01The reason I'm holding you like this,
21:03I want you to get up here where the cameras can look at you.
21:06I'm a little shook up, I'll tell you.
21:09You know, we owe our...
21:10I murder about two people.
21:13We owe our lives to you,
21:15and we want to thank Bill for making this reunion possible.
21:19Now, he told me that these two wouldn't be here
21:21if it hadn't been for your cool thinking
21:23and keeping that ship under control.
21:24That's very true.
21:25Well, I know, uh...
21:26You're shaking more than I am.
21:29We've enjoyed bringing you together after all these years,
21:31and I think this is really going to be a gap best tonight.
21:34Now...
21:36Now, uh, wait, John,
21:38before I let you go with these fellows,
21:40where are the other members of your crew living today?
21:43Uh, I saw the co-pilot,
21:46oh, I guess about two or three weeks ago.
21:48Mm-hmm.
21:49The rest are scattered all over the country, I think.
21:51I know you've only seen or visited a few of them
21:53all these 13 years,
21:54and you know how things go.
21:55Old buddies say they'll keep in touch,
21:57and then along comes marriage and babies and jobs
21:59and miles separating each other.
22:01We located some of your crew, you know.
22:03Will they all get by?
22:04I know you haven't seen your navigator,
22:06Lieutenant West Cowell, since 1945.
22:09The last time you saw him was in the jungle.
22:11We found him at Mount Morris, Michigan,
22:12and flew him to Hollywood.
22:13Come out here, West Cowell.
22:14There's your navigator.
22:16♪♪
22:19Good job.
22:20That was great, boy.
22:22Good work.
22:23Good boy.
22:24Ha, ha, ha.
22:25Oh, boy.
22:27This is quite a night for the captain, I'll tell you.
22:29And our staff tracked down your co-pilot,
22:32Lieutenant Davy Roff in Spokane, Washington.
22:34Here he is.
22:35Hi, Davy.
22:36How are you, Davy?
22:37♪♪
22:45That's incredible.
22:46Incredible?
22:47Come around here.
22:48You haven't seen half of it yet.
22:50Boy, the war story's going to get it going over tonight.
22:53You know, it took us weeks...
22:55It took us weeks to do this, and...
22:59All right, we want you to...
23:00We got both.
23:02You know, it took us weeks to find these men
23:04all over the country.
23:05Let me say it to you.
23:06♪♪
23:11Captain.
23:14I'm the pilot here.
23:15Now, listen, I know that you've probably given up
23:18ever seeing all these men together.
23:19Well...
23:20You crying?
23:21Hmm?
23:22Believe me, if I could see my crew again, I would.
23:24Believe me.
23:25Well...

23:27we located your assistant engineer,
23:29Sergeant Bob Gorman.
23:30We found him in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.
23:32Here he is.
23:33Come out here, Bob.
23:34Welcome.
23:35Welcome.
23:36Welcome.
23:42This boy saved our lives.
23:44This boy.
23:45Yeah.
23:46Great boy.
23:47I know this is going to be quite a gathering.
23:49Uh...
23:50Whatever happened to Jack Swain?
23:52You know, he's the fellow who...
23:53Dwight Swain?
23:54Yeah, he landed so close to the...
23:55He was the one that landed two feet outside the jet...
23:57Lord knows, but he's probably here.
24:01Soldier Kansas, we found him.
24:03Come on down.
24:12You know, we've...
24:13We've burned up the wires
24:14trying to find the rest of your crew.
24:15They're spread all over.
24:17And I know that you have some wonderful men.
24:19You're waist gunners.
24:20We called Lancaster, Ohio.
24:21We called McAllen, Texas,
24:23to see some of the guys.

24:35They were spread all over the country.
24:37Here they are, the whole crew.
24:38Come on down here.
24:40The whole crew is here.
25:00Fellas,
25:01I'm going to leave it up to you,
25:02just for a minute.
25:03Halt!
25:04It's been a long time.
25:05Will you please turn your captain pilot around
25:07because I've got...
25:10Patty.
25:12Here they are after 13 long years,
25:14the 11 men who parachuted from I'll Get By
25:16that fateful day back in 1945.
25:18The crew is back together again.
25:20And the whole nation...
25:24And the whole nation...
25:26Let me tell you this, Lamp.
25:27We've arranged a reunion party for you
25:29at the famous Knickerbocker Hotel
25:31in the heart of Hollywood.
25:32They've removed all the good furniture
25:34and everything.
25:35And John Lamp,
25:36let me tell you,
25:37as a memento of this night,
25:39and more particularly of the experience
25:41that you men shared back in 1945,
25:44and in the name of your crew,
25:46we'd like you to have this
25:48as a token of our appreciation
25:50for your service to our country.
25:52And in the name of your crew,
25:54we'd like you to have this
25:55beautiful 23-jewel
25:57Bulova wristwatch in its gold case.
25:59But the important thing to you
26:00will be the engraving,
26:01and if I can still pass the Air Corps test,
26:03I'll read it.
26:04We'll never forget February 17th, 1945,
26:08the crew of the I'll Get By.
26:10This is from your men,
26:11and here it is.
26:14Have a wonderful get-together.
26:15I don't have to tell you.
26:16Have a wonderful reunion.
26:18You sure may.
26:23It's, uh...
26:25It's impossible to say anything.
26:27It really is.
26:29It's incredible,
26:30and I want to thank anybody
26:33and everybody and your sponsor.
26:35Is this it?
26:38I'll put it on my hair,
26:39and I'll put it on your hair.
26:42And tonight,
26:43they'll be drinking it, too.
26:58I think I'll get my shin guards
26:59to go down and visit that party
27:00about two hours.
27:02You know, when a man gets
27:03to the end of a busy day,
27:04here's just about the nicest thing
27:06that could happen.
27:07The door opens wide,
27:09and before you know it...
27:12Hi.
27:13Look who's here.
27:14Dad's real boss, Mom.
27:17And with a great idea.
27:19She's treating him
27:20to dinner for a change.
27:22So, they're off
27:23to a fancy restaurant
27:25and their very favorite dish.
27:27Now, they can't always brush
27:29after meals,
27:30even though it's best.
27:31But Mom has her secret.
27:33She makes sure
27:34her family uses gleam.
27:36It's the toothpaste
27:37for people who can't brush
27:38after every meal.
27:40You see, the food you eat
27:41combines with mouth bacteria,
27:43causes both decay
27:45and mouth odor.
27:46But one gleam brushing
27:48before breakfast
27:49destroys most bacteria.
27:51Yes, just one morning
27:53brushing with gleam,
27:54the only toothpaste
27:55with GL-70,
27:56destroys decay bacteria
27:58and for most people
27:59stops mouth odor all day.
28:01Means a sweeter
28:02goodnight kiss.
28:03So, use gleam.
28:04It's the toothpaste
28:05for people who can't brush
28:06after every meal.
