00:00Something that I thought people were going to adjust to was jerks and profare, and that
00:08has not happened.
00:09I was expecting that hot start to just be that, just be a hot start, but this guy is
00:14the MVP of the team, hands down, leads the team in every statistical major category.
00:20Where did that come from?
00:22And has he basically tied AJ Preller's hands behind his back and making him like, I got
00:26to sign this guy again?
00:28Yeah, I would look to sign him for sure.
00:31I think there's a lot of mutual interest.
00:33I think Pro has felt very comfortable in San Diego.
00:37He went away to Colorado last year and didn't feel as comfortable now he's back.
00:41I think there's a lot of mutual respect there, of course.
00:45But I think, you know, I look back at my career and I feel like profare was having kind of
00:52a similar year to that that I had in 2004, where, you know, I'd been a veteran in the
00:59league, but that year in particular, I knew I was going to play second base every year,
01:03much like profare, I knew I was going to be the starting left fielder.
01:06And he just got off to a good start.
01:08Everything kind of hit hard, fell in early, and that just builds confidence, builds confidence,
01:13it snowballs to the point where, you know, this is his dream year.
01:17And he's been a good player.
01:19Injuries have derailed him in the past.
01:21He was the number one prospect in baseball when he first came up.
01:24So it's in there.
01:25And now I think the comfort level, the health, the confidence, all those things put together
01:31have just enabled him to have a career year.
