00:00Well, it's good to see you and to now know some of the secrets about who you're playing
00:04What was it like to reveal that you're a Sidewinder in front of Hall H?
00:09It was really an honor that the MCU not only really wanted me to join
00:14but also were very inclusive of me in deciding kind of what how it would be a little bit and and what do you think and
00:22and giving me the respect of
00:24Some knowledge to know how it could be
00:27Finessed and what it would be and and to be able to be allowed to do my own
00:32Announcement after knowing the fans started all this I am so grateful for the fans

00:38Because they're the ones that allowed the conversation to begin and I give credit where credit's due
00:44And I feel like I've landed in the right place with Seth Volker and Sidewinder
00:51The fans were kind of pushing for Professor X, but what was it about Seth and a case I wonder
00:58King of the Serpent Society. What was it about this character that made you the most invested?
01:03What what invested me the most was he didn't start in an imperious world of crime, you know, he started
01:10In a chemical company. He's a great accountant and a great mind
01:13and so it allows room for me to complicate the character and bring a more fuller version of the character because
01:20What changed him?
01:22What what what disappoints you they have along the way that he realized the system doesn't work and that he had the power and the
01:28Physicality to do something else or is it money? Is it power?
01:32What is it and so what we can we have an opportunity to learn all that to play someone who has not been
01:39Unveiled before is the new piece of the puzzle for this MCU universe
01:46What was it like suiting up for the first time because fans have kind of caught
01:49Glimpses via pap photos of what you look like in this role, but what was it like for you?
01:54You know officially suiting up walking on set for the first time as you said you'd been being pulled to the MCU now
02:00You're finally there. You know, um, I was able to get with the costume designer and and and really figure out
02:08What kind of colors should be underneath the coat I was wearing they all refer to Seth Volker
02:13What what kind how I wanted to look
02:17Physically what tools I had and what I used I kept thinking
02:22I was in Mexico City before I came to do the gig and I was looking at Diego Rivera's work surrounding snakes and
02:28The way snakes move and slither and how they get across the sand without getting burnt
02:33That's because of the pattern of how they do it and in Mexico. They worship snakes spiritually and I thought oh, I want to be worshipped
02:41You know what I mean, why not have some of that mythology
02:45Within this character and so it opened my brain to think there's so much more. There's so much more
02:51There's so much more because new original throwback to someone who exists in the comics allows your imagination
02:58And then visually in this visual world of the MCU to just take off
03:04Mention mythology, so I've got to ask you about the adamantium that has been discovered and we're finally referencing that celestial from Eternals
03:10What does that mean in regards to Seth Volker? I think it means opportunity
03:15I think it means an enhancement of powers. I think it means long life. I think it means
03:22you know a
03:23commodity that can be brokered and
03:27Used to gain more power and strengthen the Society of Serpents
03:32Just ready for your spin-off series, so just just feel free to announce the Disney Plus show whenever you're ready
03:38No, look, you know if I've done my job correctly
03:42Because I've been inspired by what they've handed me and if I can do my job, right?
03:46It means I'm inspiring them by what they see and then that inspiration comes to more
03:51Conversation and leads to these new avenues, which I'm certain are to come
