01:12Now, these two haven't been photographed together in public in some time, so we love to see it.

01:21Actress Serena Williams claims she and her family were denied a table at the Peninsula
01:25Hotel's Le Zoo Blanc in Paris.
01:26The restaurant is clarifying that it was all a big misunderstanding.
01:30So let's recap.
01:31Serena blasted the hotel for not letting her dine at its empty rooftop, noting that while
01:36she's been denied at nicer places before, never while with her kids.
01:39But the hotel counters that Serena wasn't denied entry, just that the rooftop was completely
01:44booked at the time, so she couldn't be seated right away.
01:47They added, we've always been honored to welcome you and will always be to welcome you again.

02:16good news is the latest is he's recovering out of the ICU, so that's what's most important.
02:21But this e-bike accident that he was in, it happened in heavy traffic in Los Angeles.

02:26Do we know anything about his injuries?
02:29We do.
02:30So we know that he wasn't wearing a helmet, and as a result, you know, has sustained what
02:33they're calling complex trauma.
02:34He does have a head injury.
02:36He does have hip pain.
02:37He will require physical therapy, and a source tells people that the road to recovery is
02:41going to be quite long.
02:43But again, the good news is he's recovering out of the ICU, so his family's quite pleased
02:48about that.
02:49I'm so glad about that, because the ICU is just an awful place to be.
02:52So Angelina has been by his side, though, right?
02:54Yeah, his mom's been by his side in the hospital the whole time, and you know, she's said that
02:58she's deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving actions of the first responders and for the
03:02medical care that her son's been receiving.
03:04And he's had some other visitors in the hospital, too.
03:06His siblings have all been by his side.
03:08You know, the kids are a pretty close unit, and so his family's really been showing up
03:11for him.
03:12Man, Alex, at times like this, that's when you realize the importance of family, and
03:15we really do wish him a speedy recovery.

05:50We have so much to talk about today, I just saw you in Times Square giving out copies
05:54of your book.
05:55I love how you're out there in full promo mode.
05:58What perspective did you want to share with this book?
06:00This book to me is a love letter to the 90s, to the village that raised me, and to all
06:08the cities I was raised in.
06:10And it's also just this ode to imagination and how powerful it is.
06:14And we all have it, and we lose it along the way.
06:16Life gets serious, you grow up, and you're busy, and you're successful, and you got kids,
06:20and you're stressed, all these things.
06:24But there's this amazing thing that we have that lives inside of us, that just gives us
06:28a sense of play and a sense of joy, and is a stress reliever and a way to engage with
06:33folks.
06:34And to me, going through the journey of writing this book and telling this story of this little
06:39boy with an overactive imagination, to coming of age and growing up and going through some
06:44kind of more serious things, I hope that I answered that question with this book for
06:49people of why it's important to have imagination.
06:53You've had some big life changes this year.
06:55Congrats on baby Noah.
06:56I know we spoke a while ago, and you said you were prepared for the chaos of living
07:00with two kiddos.
07:01But how is it now living in it?
07:03You know, at this age, just a lot of sleeping and feeding and sleeping and feeding.
07:08So he hasn't really fully realized the power of his voice yet.
07:13I'm sure that's coming very soon.
07:15The funniest thing really has been trying to keep my daughter away from him, because
07:18she's just so in love with him.
07:19She smothers him with love.
07:21Now, I know Nora's only four, but does she know that her dad is famous?
07:25Nora does not know that.
07:27Nora, she keeps asking me what my job is.

07:31I just usually, I just say I go to work, or Daddy tells stories.
07:36And one day she said, Daddy, are you an actor?
07:39And I was like, what, where did you get that from?
07:42One of the kids at school told her I was an actor.
07:45She knows that I am an actor.
07:46She doesn't necessarily know what an actor is, because she's at that age where she still
07:49believes that everybody on television is actually in the television.
07:53So we're going to keep her there for a while, and let her enjoy that, and let her play in it.
