00:00Yes, so my name's Bill Strohecker and I've been running the Kunst Art Gallery for nearly a year
00:05now, but unfortunately recently we've been seeing a massive decline in sales and haven't been able to
00:15really support the gallery fully, so we've had to take the sad decision to close. I think that
00:23it's difficult getting support. We get footfall and we get people in the shop, but most people
00:28come along and really love the gallery and love that it's here and love the artworks and posters
00:36etc, but unfortunately people don't seem to have the money to spend on buying that type of thing
00:42at the moment. The idea for the gallery was to have something that was a little bit edgier in
00:47Chichester, a little bit more independent than the corporates, hence the type of artworks,
00:54the street art, the graffiti and supporting local artists as well, but I think that there
01:02still is room for this and hopefully we can plan something else in the future.
01:07All the people that came in and bought things from us and supported us locally, I'd like to
01:12say a massive thank you. I really appreciate what they've done and hopefully we'll still be around
01:19in the future in another form.
