00:40Nilagay ko doon, Remy Maduro. Tas nakalagay, passed away. Ha? Sabi ko,

00:44namatay na siya. Tas nilibing pala ng August 8. And then that day, parang breaking news pa lang

00:51yung kay mother niya. She passed away. Parang wala pa, wala pa dito. Parang breaking news na.

00:56Parang kamamatay na pa lang. Eh, I think that was Saturday or Sunday.

01:01Sunday po. Sunday. Sunday. Atos the next day may taping ako. So wala pa namang dito.

01:07So I didn't know where to go at all. Then I was taping Monday, Tuesday. Ngayon lang talagang

01:12free day ko po. So Thursday, Sunday, April 14.

01:15One last question Ms. Dino. What's your fondest memory with Mother Remy?

01:20Mother? Actually it's hard for me to... Also, parang hindi pa nagsisipin sa akin kasi

01:31Mother was really like a mother to me. Because when I started, I know how many times she would spank me

01:39kasi palpak yung Tagalog ko. She would call me itong malinding bikulanan ito. Yan ang favorite dialogue niya sa akin.

01:47We would eat lugaw together, be in her kitchen together. She would be taking a bath and I'm inside the

01:53banyo waiting for her while she's taking a bath. That close. That close. She would even call the

01:59masayi sa... Dora e ba na yun? Masayi mo si Dina dito. Mother, why am I in your room? You stay there.

02:06Tapos minsan pag nagsiseryo siya kay father, ako yung pananggan niya.

02:10Mayan ako si father, mayan ako si mother nag-imagine ka walang ginagawa si family.

02:14Pag mag-aaway na sila, nandun ako sa gitna. Sabi ko, why am I here?

02:18So there was even a time na si Meme and Roselle, parang nagsiseryo sila kasi lagi ako nasa room ni Mother.

02:24And I would tell her, why am I always in your room? I wanna go out.

02:27No, ako yung pinakarebelde actually. Pero mahal na mahal niya ako kasi I tell her what's in my head.

02:35Pero dahil dun eventually naging sobrang close din ako kay Meme and Roselle. I was like the third girl in her...

02:42Well, I was like the ate amongst her children. So parang in fact my name was supposed to be Marilyn Montague.

02:51Kaya lang sabi nga nila she won Miss Magnolia, first runner-up as Dina Bonny Lee.

03:00So that's just what her name was. But I was almost Marilyn Montague. Parang that was my screen na dapat.

03:09I'm just happy na nakita ko si Meme and Roselle kasi it's like seeing siblings that I missed for so long ago.

03:17Mother and I would travel to the States, to Hong Kong. I will miss her sense of humor.

03:24She's so funny and I really treated her like a mom. Even nung nag-asawa na ako and all, I would call her all the time.

03:34Tell her about my life, my problems, what I'm going through. Even yung mga kids ko sinakausap mo.

03:42Ganun kami ka-close ni mother. I'm really one of her closest alhaga.

03:49Ano yung hindi mo makakalimutan project sa Regal Miss Dina?

03:53O yung mga unang melaunch ka?

03:57Well, syempre 14. Kasi that was my first solo star. Temptation Island was my first movie but 14 is when I wore the magic amulet.

04:06Practically all throughout the shooting of that, mother would come to Ilocos to visit.

04:13She watched the whole pictorial. Everything lahat. Pati yung haircut. Kasi I was 17 when I did the torso.

04:25Pati yung magiging hairstyle ko. Nakakuha kong bata and all.

04:30But it wasn't so far away from who I was at that time because I think I had my menstruation at 15. Late bloomer din talada ako.
