00:00Hello everyone, this is Powkiddy A30 handheld game console.
00:16Now you can purchase one of these for less than £30-40 and you can get it in various
00:21different colours.
00:22This is a nice transparency red colour, you can get it in grey and you can get it in many
00:27other colours as well.
00:28Now this reminds me of one of my childhood handheld game console called the Gameboy Advance
00:35and I think that's how they made this design because it has exactly the same design to
00:40it and it was a struggle playing the Advance, it was one of my first consoles, well second
00:48console after Gameboy Colour and it didn't have no backlight so at night time you can't
00:55really play the games unless you switch on the light, if you switch off the light you're
01:01not seeing anything and then I upgraded to Gameboy Micro but that was one of my handheld
01:09game console that I remember and it was one of my favourite, played Pokemon Emerald, everything
01:14on that handheld game console.
01:17Now this is just a remake design of it with pretty much a lot of emulators built into
01:24it, I'll show you them.
01:26Now it has the power switch there, you've got a 3.5mm headphone jack that goes in here,
01:32it recharges via a USB type C charging port, it has the volume control here and the sound
01:40comes out here.
01:42At the top here you've got the reset button here, the return button, you've got the memory
01:47card that has all the games there, you've got the L1 and L2, the R1 and R2 button, you've
01:52got the navigation button, start, select, you've got the rest of the A, B, X, Y buttons
01:57there and the power button there.
01:59At the back here there's nothing else really there and it comes with a USB type C charging
02:05cable and a user manual here as well.
02:09Now the screen size, it's a 2.8 inch IPS display and a full charge would give you about 4 hours
02:17of playtime and it takes about 2 hours to give you a full charge, so let's show you.
02:25So this is the home page, the buttons sometimes you have to press a little bit harder but
02:31it has a playlist, you've got the favourites, you can add favourites, you've got retro game,
02:36you've got game, file, settings, let's go to settings first, let's see what's there.
02:42So you've got keys map there, you've got languages, you can choose your languages that
02:47you want, there's not many languages to choose from and then you've got the BGM volume, so
02:54that's the volume, brightness, let's put it to max and you've got refresh ROMs, factory
03:00reset, device info, hardware test, that's what the settings has.
03:05Now let me go to the retro game here, that's all the emulators here, so you've got Neo,
03:10you've got FZ, you've got SFC, you've got Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Mega Drive, you've
03:16got SMS, PC Engine, you've got PlayStation games as well, you've got arcade game.
03:23Ok so let's try out one of the PlayStation games, ok, well I guess there's only one game,
03:31depending on how the games are downloaded, there's only one game to choose from on the
03:36PlayStation side of it.
03:38Let's go to Gameboy because there are a lot of Gameboys to choose from, but I'm just going
03:42to choose any game, you've got Pokemon and all the games, Yu-Gi-Oh!, the games that people
03:49will be commenting about, it does have all that.
03:52I'm just going to try out a specific game because it doesn't really have a search to
03:56really search for a specific game and it can take me a while to find one, so I just want
04:02to check out one, so I'm just going to go to something like, for example, there's a
04:10lot of games to choose from, I'm going to look for something like Tekken, ok, so you've
04:14got Tekken Advance, let's see if that works, ok, so it's loading, some games can take a
04:20bit longer, ok so you can see Namco and it's starting up, so Tekken Advance, and then you
04:29press start, and yeah, I'm just going to do a quick practice, ok, let's see, Tekken
04:42is one of my favourite games, so yeah, you've got a lot of characters to choose from, I'm
04:48going to choose Jin for now, and I'll choose another one, so I'm going to choose Hwoarang,
04:54and let's see how the game works, so you can see it covers the whole screen, and that's
04:58it, it starts, I had to get used to the buttons because I haven't played with, I haven't really
05:14played this one, usually it should work when you press certain buttons like this to grab,
05:19so it does grab I think, so you've got to press some of these buttons to grab, you can
05:26see, so the bounds are slightly different, but you can see the game works perfectly,
05:35it covers the whole screen as well, some games doesn't cover the full screen, but the game
05:42works perfectly, that was just one of the games, if you want to return, you just press
05:47that button at the top here, and then it will say save, or if you don't want to save, just
05:52press that, and it will take you straight back to the menu, now for example, let's go
06:01to Super Street Fighter, because that's another game I remember playing, ok, so let's see
06:08how this one loads, ok, so, Capcom, and let's just go training for now, and yep, so choose
06:22just choose Ryu, and Zangief, ok, let's see how the game works, oh, these buttons, some
06:40buttons aren't even working, so, the configuration is slightly different, you usually just press
06:46the buttons, you've got punch and everything, this one doesn't do punches, I think it's
06:49more these buttons that does it, grabbing, I've just got to get used to it, but I just
07:00want to show you, just showing the gameplay that, you know, these work perfectly, there's
07:05so many games to choose from, so it's perfect for a gift, and it just reminds me of the
07:11Game Boy Advance, that's the reason why I got it to just try it out, plenty of games
07:15to choose from, there's about several thousand games to choose from, so, thank you for watching
07:20my video, please do give a like and subscribe.
