Indigenous and environmental activists continue to protest a controversial tourism development on Taiwan's east coast. They warn it will damage local ecosystems and harm Indigenous people's way of life.

00:07That's as the Ministry of the Interior holds its fourth meeting to review planning permission
00:11for the project.
00:12Nearly 10 hectares of land are earmarked for the development, near Pisirian Village in
00:17Taitung County.
00:19Developers say the resort will bring jobs to the indigenous community and not harm the
00:23environment.
00:24But, indigenous activists say it endangered their way of life.
