Dodo Producer Goes To Colombia To Meet A Very Special Cow In Person

One of our Dodo producers went all the way to his hometown in Colombia to meet a very affectionate cow from one of his videos...❤️

00:00Ever since I made Clementina's video for the Dodo, I've been dreaming of meeting her.

00:11She loves to get in trouble and steals food from her family's dining table.

00:20I had never seen a cow with such personality.

00:28The fact that she was from my hometown generated a very warm feeling in me that inspired me

00:33to go and meet her.

00:35Clementina's home is an animal sanctuary located in a small town in Colombia.

00:39I took a flight to the closest city, which is Medellin, and then drove about an hour

00:44to get to where she is.

00:48When I finally arrived, I was welcomed by many of the rescue dogs that live in Second

00:52Chance's sanctuary.

00:55Most of them are disabled dogs that were rescued from the street.

01:02Andrea and Juancho, who run the sanctuary, have rescued over 50 animals.

01:09One of my favorites was Londi, a senior bulldog that just kept snoring so loud that I could

01:13hear her from outside.

01:18As someone who has loved animals since I was a kid, I was very touched by all the great

01:22things they do for them.

01:25Finally, it was time to meet Clementina.

01:29When I called her, she came running very fast like she knew who I was.

01:35She came straight to me and the first thing she did was to lick my arm.

01:38It was incredible.

01:41I knew she loved attention, but seeing it in person was just another thing.

01:48If I was doing a video, she would come up to me and just pose for the camera.

01:56I wanted to show her her own little videos, but apparently being a media superstar didn't

02:03really excite her as much as licking my arm.

02:06I asked Andrea, Clementina's mom, to tell me a little bit more about the things they

02:10do here, and this is what she said.

02:19Here, we give second chances to animals that have a disability or to the so-called farm

02:26animals.

02:27So, we dedicate ourselves to giving them a healthy life until the last day of their lives,

02:32to love them and to give them everything they need.

02:35Right, Clementina?

02:36Right?

02:40Meeting Clementina was the best thing ever.

02:42She is such an amazing cow.

02:44Juancho and Andrea do a great job with the sanctuary.

02:47Growing up in Colombia, I always wondered what happened to those dogs that I would see

02:51on the streets, and now I know that this sanctuary takes care of them.

02:55I can't wait to go back.

02:58I'll forever be in love with Clementina.
