00:14just a few months after the 27-year-old gymnastics icon married NFL safety Jonathan Owens.
00:19After posting a pretty normal and unremarkable photo of herself attending one of her husband's
00:24games, a horde of fans took to the comments to speculate about the gymnast having a bun in the
00:28oven, which prompted her to swiftly set the record straight. Biles copied a photo of herself
00:33from the post to her Instagram story, writing,
00:35"...I hate that I even have to address this, but please stop commenting on this
00:39photo or my Instagram in general about me being pregnant. I'm not pregnant."
00:43While she hasn't spoken out about the most recent slew of pregnancy rumors,
00:47she's certainly no stranger to stopping this gossip in its tracks. Perhaps we'll end up
00:51hearing from her again once she has a chance to sit down and scroll through comments after
00:55cleaning up at the Olympics. When pregnancy rumors first emerged, Biles and Owens may not
01:00have felt the time was right to have a baby just yet. While appearing on The Today Show in October
01:042023, Biles seemed to be content with the way things are in her personal life. She said,
01:09"...You know, I get to go home to my husband, to my dogs, to my house,
01:12and all of the things, so it feels really good."
01:15It's only fair, then, that Biles has some time to enjoy her hubby, her dogs, and of course,
01:20those Olympic medals before a baby comes along. However, that doesn't mean that this couple
01:24doesn't want a family of their own someday. During an Instagram Q&A with fans in July 2023,
01:30Biles was confident about their hopes for the future, and confirmed that they do,
01:33in fact, want kids. As for how many kids the couple envisioned, that answer wasn't as certain.
01:38She wrote,
01:39"...I would say two, and Jonathan would say three is the perfect number. I don't want
01:43to be outnumbered, lol."
01:45Anyone who keeps up with Biles' Instagram account knows that she looks like a total
01:48natural when it comes to motherhood. In November 2022, Biles posted an adorable
01:53photo of her holding her newborn niece to Instagram. In the caption, she wrote,
01:57"...my precious little niece made her debut Friday. I'm so proud to be your
02:01TT and I'm excited to spoil you."
02:03Biles clearly loves having her aunt title, and we'd all probably agree that the title of mom
02:08will fit her just as well. Now that her award-winning performance in her third
02:11Olympic Games has come to a close, Biles will surely have more time to focus on other things.
02:16As of now, though, she'd prefer no one asks what those other things will be.
02:20On August 4th, the gymnast took to X with a gentle reminder not to put too much pressure
02:24on Olympians to think about their futures right away. She wrote,
02:27"...you guys really gotta stop asking athletes what's next after they win a medal at the
02:31Olympics."
02:32After that, she posted a follow-up comment that reads,
02:35"...let us soak up the moment we've worked our whole lives for."
02:37When one commenter asked what her next step is after winning another gold medal,
02:41Biles simply said,
02:42"...babysitting the medal."
02:44So, it sounds like her gold medal will be her only golden child for a while,
02:47and she definitely deserves it.
