00:00In Bangladesh, Cholti Dama Dal's Abohai Mongolbar Sarbatoliyo Baithak was held by the Centre.
00:06In this Baithak, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar explained the situation of Bangladesh in front of all the representatives of the Dal.
00:14He sat in the Baithak with all the Dal regarding the situation of Bangladesh.
00:18In the Baithak was the Central Government Minister Amir Shah,
00:21Defence Minister Rajnath Singh,
00:23Deputy Secretary Minister Kiran Rijejo.
00:26The news of the news was discussed in this Baithak regarding the situation of the Indian citizens living in Bangladesh.
00:33The Centre knows that Bangladesh has been in contact with the army in New Delhi.
00:38The situation is not bad in any way, it is being seen in a bad way.
00:42The news of the news was known by S Jaishankar to all the members of the Sarbatol Baithak regarding the situation of Bangladesh in India.
00:51According to his statement, India wants to give some time to Sheikh Hasina.
00:57What is his future plan?
00:59He said that he will inform the Indian Government.
01:02As such, the administrative position will be correct.
01:05Look, Sudip Bandopadhyay took part in the Sarbatoliyo Baithak from the side of Trinamool.
01:10There is no kind of opposition.
01:12Where will you go with Bangladesh, with whom?
01:17The Sarbatoliyo Baithak should clarify the situation of Trinamool, Sudip.
01:21On the other hand, the current situation of Bangladesh and its surroundings,
01:26India's position and diplomatic relations,
01:29and the political personality of the Congress, Shashi Tharoor,
01:33is concerned about India's military independence.
01:36I think constructively, I think we should make ourselves available, our good officers to help them in whatever way.
01:42India must reassure everybody that we are not an unfriendly power,
01:47that we have no desire to dominate or control what's happening in Bangladesh.
01:50We would like to be helpful.
01:51That would be the kind of message that I believe we should convey both publicly and privately.
01:56As far as the Sheikh Hasina era is over,
01:59I do believe it presided over very important economic growth and progress.
02:03But it's not clear that the benefits of that economic growth reached the bottom of the pyramid.
02:07And that's why the people who are on the streets protesting don't feel they have much to lose.
02:12I'm told that 40% of the population of Bangladesh between 15 and 24 are neither in education nor employed.
02:19And that's a damning statistic.
02:20So for these people, they welcome a change because they were not doing very well under the previous system,
02:26even though the macroeconomic indicators were very good.
02:29This is an important lesson for all countries, including us in India.
02:33We have to make sure that whatever growth figures the government talks about,
02:36that the benefits are reaching the ordinary people of this country.
02:40And that's the same logic that perhaps in Bangladesh has failed.
