00:00The nation's top police officer has dismissed a Malaysia Kini report that claims Bukit Amman

00:07is planning to shake up its top leadership, with some senior officers being transferred

00:11out of the force.

00:13Inspector General of Police Rasuluddin Hussein maintained that the police never issued any

00:18official statement on the matter.

00:20He advised all parties to refrain from quoting unofficial sources when it comes to information

00:25involving government agencies and security forces.

00:29According to Malaysia Kini, sources say that Rasuluddin's deputy, Ayub Khan Mahdin Pichai,

00:34and Bukit Amman's Criminal Investigation Department Director, Shuhaili Zain, will be

00:38transferred out of the force.

00:40A source said Ayub might be transferred to lead another agency in the Home Ministry,

00:44either the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency or the Malaysian Border Control and

00:48Protection Agency.

00:50Meanwhile, the source also said Shuhaili could become the National Anti-Drugs Agency's

00:55Director-General, a post which has been vacant since Sutekhno Ahmad Belon was made a Human

01:00Resources Ministry Deputy Secretary-General in April.
