00:00But just realize that Allah chooses people He loves, and He tests them.
00:08And He doesn't test them to hurt them, and He doesn't test them to punish them.
00:12He tests them for a very different reason.
00:16Realize that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wants to purify and elevate those He loves.
00:26And there's a very powerful hadith in which the Prophet shallallahu alaihi wasallam says,
00:31that there are a group of people who Allah wants them to reach a certain level.
00:38And He knows that they cannot reach that level by their deeds alone.
00:45And so He tests them.
00:47He gives them difficulty and struggle. Why?
00:50So that they can reach that level.
