00:00I want to start with Michigan football and the problems they're having after the fact
00:09after Jim Harbaugh left.
00:12Now it appears that the NCAA is sniffing around again and wants to mete out some suspensions
00:20and problems for the Wolverines.
00:22Does it sound to you like Sharon Moore's in trouble in some capacity or another?
00:28I think a lot of people at Michigan, including the administration, were hoping that since
00:33Harbaugh had left that the NCAA would cool off a little bit.
00:37It almost seemed like it was more of a personal situation with Harbaugh and the NCAA.
00:42Listen, Harbaugh could have admitted wrongdoing and or basically signed a piece of paper saying
00:49I didn't know but it happened, but he wouldn't even do that.
00:53And he's kind of left Sharon Moore and everybody out to dry a little bit.
00:57There's no coincidence that Harbaugh left at this time, right?
01:01Harbaugh felt as though the university really wasn't having his back enough.
01:06And long story short, they wanted, he wanted like full, you know, he wanted like full innocence
01:14and to play the innocent card.
01:15Well, we know that's a little bit naive.
01:17It's too bad.
01:18I mean, recruits that are on this football team have nothing to do with this, but it
01:23is what it is, Scott.
01:24Listen, I'm not losing sleep over it.
01:26I'm expecting more to get a couple of games.
01:28It is what it is.
01:29They did this to Michigan last year.
01:31And what happened?
01:32All it really did is motivate the football team and bring them together, Scott.
01:36You saw it.
01:37So it'll be the same thing right now.
01:38Us against the world, whatever it is going on in the college football world.
01:41This is the stupidest thing ever.
01:43All right.
01:44So they had somebody in the stands reading people's signs.
01:47So you're allowed to do that yourself, but you can't send someone to a game.
01:51It's, you know, the last thing about this, Scott.
01:54Even like Ohio, besides Ohio State, like who, you know, whatever.
01:59Everybody thinks it's the stupidest rule ever.
02:01Nick Saban himself said this is the dumbest rule ever.
02:03He goes, you're allowed to scout.
02:04Who cares if, you know, you got to change your signs up.
02:08So it is what it is, Scott.
02:09But in the big picture, I don't really think it affects very much, right?
02:12They're going to get another slap on the wrist.
02:14He might miss two, three games or something like that.
02:16And an assistant will have to step up, but they should get it over with and do it.
02:21Don't wait until two days before we play Fresno State to start the season, Scott.
02:24Like whenever you're going to do, freaking announce it and get it over with.
02:28Yeah.
02:29How many times did they suspend Jim Harbaugh?
02:33Do you remember how many times it was?
02:35Was it once, twice?
02:37This is the problem as well.
02:39Harbaugh, Michigan have never been punished by the NCAA, by all of this.
02:44So that's what I'm saying, that Michigan sort of telling the NCAA, what more do you want
02:48from us?
02:49We suspended Harbaugh last year for four games.
02:52We suspended him, right?
02:54Like Michigan, the universe, that's what Harbaugh didn't like.
02:58They said, listen, if we suspend you, maybe it'll calm the NCAA down, you'll miss a bunch
03:02of games.
03:03So they suspended him.
03:04And then the Big Ten came in, Scott, and suspended Harbaugh.
03:08So the NCAA haven't had their pound of flesh yet for Michigan.
03:11The Big Ten got their pound of flesh.
03:13Michigan themselves told Harbaugh to step aside for a couple of weeks.
03:18But now the NCAA wants more.
03:19So like, that's what I'm saying.
03:20If you add all this up, what do you want from us?
03:23Like this isn't a major violation.
03:25Like why they're dragging this out so much is beyond me.
03:30Is there any belief that the national championship will be in danger?
03:36No.
03:37I don't know.
03:38No.
03:39No.
03:40And if what?
03:41So what, Scott?
03:42Did Reggie Bush win out Heisman?
03:43You know what I mean?
03:44They can do whatever the hell they want to do.
03:48They can win the championship.
03:49But no, I don't think it'll go that far.
03:51It's not, this isn't the end of the world type of stuff that happened here.
03:55I think it was an overreaction.
03:57And I don't know why the NCAA, you know, the NCAA is kind of toothless now, Scott, to be
04:01honest.
04:02Like, I'm not, you know, in a year not too far away, they will have zero power over college
04:09football.
04:10They really do now.
04:11The only thing they are now, they're like the hall monitor, Scott.
04:14You're walking too fast in the hall.
04:16You're smoking weed in the back.
04:17Like, other than that, it's like, you're not the principal, you're not the administrator.
04:21Nobody cares.
