New independent vets Our Veterina opening August 12 in St Leonards, East Sussex

The new vets will open on August 12.

00:00So, we are planning to open on the 12th of August for public.

00:06We will have small session on the 9th between 3 and 6 for people, they can come over, meet

00:13our team, even register their pets or just say hello basically.

00:18We are planning to open for public with aim to provide comprehensive veterinary care in

00:26terms of preventive care, diagnostics, treatment.

00:31We have fully equipped laboratory equipment, diagnostic imaging set up and hospital.

00:39For me personally, it is about what I can do more for a patient.

00:44I got into veterinary medicine as being a son of a person who studied at the veterinary

00:51university and I was always surrounded by animals, so it is a part of my life and I

01:02understand sort of what does it mean to have a pet at home.

01:05It is a part of the family, so we need to take care of them and do what is the best

01:12under the circumstances.

01:13So, we aim to tailor the treatment to the individual situation of the owner and the

01:20pet, not just like a blanket approach.

01:25We are planning to start as a team of four.

01:30It will be me as a main veterinary surgeon, then we will have two very experienced nurses

01:38and one very experienced receptionist.

01:41We hopefully aim to grow this team during the time, as soon as we will see that there

01:46is interest from the public and which will indicate the need of the bigger team.
