00:04turn your Twitter profile to a professional profile on a Mac computer

00:09without further ado let us start the video so in this tutorial you need to

00:13have access to a Mac computer access to a Twitter account if you're not sure how

00:18to do that I have several videos tutorials to show you how to create and

00:24use Twitter on iPhone and Mac let's now go over onto the dock go to the web

00:31browser which is Safari in this case go to Twitter which is on the toolbar as a

00:36shortcut for us make sure you are signed into the account and then now to turn

00:44your profile from normal to professional let's now click on edit profile go all

00:51the way to the bottom switch to professional and then we see the message

00:58on screen Twitter for professionals get access to tools you need to better

01:03connect with your audience grow your brand and increase your profile by

01:08tapping agree and continue you are agreeing to our professional account

01:13policy which I'm about to open up in a new tab so let's just click on the link

01:19command enter and then you can read through all this before you click on

01:25accept so let's go back one agree and continue and so you now have to select a

01:35category for myself we are video production so we also handle social

01:44media as well as technology if you're struggling to find your category you

01:52may perform a search let's perform technology let's just click on science

01:57and technology as that's what we are all about so let's click on next this is a

02:05business next we can customize the profile pick topics to follow promote a

02:14tweet more coming soon let's skip for now and so now we are a professional

02:20profile click on save and there we go science and technology has now been

02:25added to the profile to let the viewers the users the consumers know this is a

02:33professional Twitter profile so we can now quit Safari and so that's it for
