07:35I don't want to see her. It's what you would I don't love you
07:40And a mother like her sizing up the competition. There's no competition wants more than love

10:02I
10:21Don't know if I was destined to play this role
10:23But I feel very fortunate to be doing so the crow was Brandon Lee's last film
10:28Miramax home entertainment is proud to share his final on-camera interview which includes exclusive never-before-seen footage
10:35the crow in the film the bird in the film
10:40You could really just look at as a guide
10:46Almost a piece of his own personality
10:49That guides him
10:51Back into his life and reminds him who he was what happened to him
10:59This
11:02Is a person who has been pushed right to the limits of
11:06His ability to cope with what is going on and in a sense is quite mad sometimes in a sense is completely insane
11:14Almost in the sense that you might think of an insane person having voices
11:17You know more rational voices that try and guide him more irrational voices that come from a more emotional more
11:25deep-seated place I
11:26Think that the crow is that rational voice the crow is his guy
11:31the crow
11:32Helps Eric do what he has to do in a very practical sense
11:37It leads him to the places that he has to be it helps him find the people that he has to find
11:49It's a story about
11:53Justice for victims each one these
11:56is a life
11:59The life you helped destroy
12:01His mission is to find the man who killed him and his fiancee and kill them
12:10I just want him. It's a wonderful role and
12:15It really is a role that you have to take risks with and it gives you a wonderful
12:20Opportunity to take those risks and stretch because you tell me how somebody who comes back from the dead is going to behave
12:25You know you move you're dead
12:29And I say I'm dead and I move and that's one of the wonderful things about playing this character is it's a real
12:39You can really take the gloves off in playing this part because
12:44There are no rules about how a person who has come back from the dead is going to behave
12:52You killed
12:56I can't be you we put you through window. There ain't no coming back, and then there's the part of him that is filled with
13:05rage
13:09Towards what was done to him
13:13And one of the things I like best about this movie is the fact that
13:18All of those parts of the character are given
13:22balance on the screen
13:26I
13:28He's torn up. He's torn up really badly
13:32Emotionally physically and psychically
13:37She died of the hospital
13:42I
13:46Saw her through your eyes think that
13:50the appeal of
13:52Eric's mission is
13:54That it is a very pure one
13:56He has come back
13:59To seek justice
14:04I've done other films that have had
14:06violence in them
14:08But I must say I've never done anything
14:11Where I felt that the violence was as justified as it is. There's very little need to worry about compassion
14:18Victims
14:20Aren't we all?
14:22This is justice
14:23You know and I truly feel that it is and I truly feel that if I were in the same situation
14:28I would do the same thing
14:34He has something he has to do and he's forced to
14:39Put aside his own pain long enough to go do what he has to do to tell the rest of them death is coming
14:48Tonight this film deals with the concept of a balance being struck between good and evil. I
14:54Gave this to Shelly once. I
14:57Think she'd like you to have it
15:00Because we do not know when we will die. We get to think of life as an inexhaustible
15:05Well, and yet everything happens only a certain number of times and a very small number
15:10Really? How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood?
15:17An afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it
15:21Perhaps four or five times more perhaps not even that how many more times will you watch the full moon rise?
15:29Perhaps 20 and yet it all seems limitless
15:34Little things used to mean so much to Shelly. I used to think they were kind of trivial
15:40Believe me
15:42Nothing is trivial
15:44This is the point of view that this character is coming from in the whole film
15:49Because it has been brought sharply into focus for him how precious each moment of his life is. I love you
15:58Say that again. I love you. This is the best role that I've
16:03Had the opportunity to get my hands on
16:15Your tears
