00:00Sure, thanks a gentleman. The gentleman yields back. The gentlelady from Pennsylvania is
00:03recognized. I can't believe that we're here with refrigerator freedom and
00:09laundry liberty again. I mean, I thought we'd beaten this horse to death. It
00:14does seem after, you know, the 4th of July we can pledge allegiance to the
00:18fridge of the United States of America and to the dishwasher for which it
00:22stands one nation under God, indivisible except for gas stoves, with liberty and
00:28justice for all appliances. I think these bills are ridiculous. I think they
00:32miss the point of the fact that consumers want energy efficiency
00:36standards. It's been something that has been the law of the land for decades. We
00:41should continue with it. Mr. Neal, is there anything you wanted to add? Well, I
00:46just wanted to respond to the sponsor if I could and, you know, I believe he's
00:50referencing the wrong rule. With regard to the dishwasher claim that he made, the
00:55claim of the 12-year payback period is in reference to a proposed rule in May
01:00of 23, but that was not the one that was adopted. They adopted a rule that
01:05basically says that the payback period at the standard level is 3.9 years, while
01:11the estimated average lifetime of a dishwasher is 15.2 years. And I can
01:17provide the same information for refrigerators, but for the sake of time I
01:22will not. Thank you. I yield back.
