00:00My name's Annette Eyre. I'm the town councillor and also the town mayor.
00:05It's a real privilege and honour to be here today.
00:09Part of history again that Alton has created and it continues.
00:17I mean, this building, this area has seen and witnessed so much
00:23in the ever-changing town that we've got.
00:26And I'm so glad that we're all here to celebrate the plaque.
00:30And it's part of the community that so many people need to come and experience.
00:35It's lovely.
00:37And do you think you'll be convincing others to come down here
00:40and have a look now that you've learned more about it for yourself?
00:43I hope I can. I mean, I think I might come down and experience it a bit more.
00:49It definitely is. Even though we're on the side of a busy road,
00:53it's actually quite peaceful.
00:56And I think I may come and reflect here a few more times.
