00:00Rescue teams are continuing their search for survivors after a landslide killed over 300 people in southern India,
00:07but hopes of finding anyone alive are fading.
00:10Heavy rain in Kerala state triggered a massive mud and rock slide early on Tuesday morning.
00:16Hundreds of people remain trapped. Nearly 1,600 have been rescued,
00:20but soldiers are still working to access the worst affected areas.
00:24Some 8,000 people are being sheltered in makeshift camps across the region.
00:29This is the worst thing that can happen to a human being.
00:32This is beyond our expectations.
00:35So, we need to provide them with the necessary counselling.
