पेरिस ओलिंपिक में 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल के मिश्रित युगल में कांस्य पदक जीतने के बाद सरबजोत गांव धीन पहुंचे। ग्रामीणों ने सरबजोत का स्वागत किया। सरबजोत सिंह ने अपने पिता जितेन्द्र सिंह व मां हरदीप कौर के पैर छूकर आशीर्वाद लिया।
