00:00And a follow-up on the 9-11 plea deal, if I may.
00:04Does the President still plan to close Guantanamo Bay Prison before he leaves office?
00:08And is there a realistic pathway to do that in the next six months?
00:12That's still something that the President wants to do and get done.
00:15As far as a timeline, I don't have anything for you here,
00:18but obviously this is something that he wanted to be done under his administration.
00:23I just don't have anything else to read out or preview at this time,
00:26but it is something that he's determined to get done.
00:29And does he have a message to some of the 9-11 families who wanted to see a full trial,
00:33who wanted to see this kind of come to a fuller process?
00:37So, look, this is basically what Jake said.
00:41This is something that we had no involvement in.
00:43He didn't have any involvement in.
00:45And so the White House played no role in this process,
00:50and the President directed his team to consult, as appropriate,
00:54with officials and lawyers and Department of Defense, obviously.
00:58And we have said this before.
01:03We are – our hearts go out to the families who lost loved ones on that day.
01:13And the President on 9-11 has honored them every year
01:16and the families, again, who lost their loved one on that terrible day.
01:20And we remain committed, this administration remained committed,
01:24to ensuring that the military commission process is fair
01:27and delivers justice to the victims, survivors, families, and those accused of crimes.
01:33And so that is certainly the President's continued commitment here.
