00:00The Philippine National Police clarified that there is no clear indication that the attack of an armed group in Dato Odin, Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte has anything to do with the plebiscite.
00:12As of now, according to the PNP, they are implementing more strict border control checkpoints and additional deployments in four barangays there.
00:21More than 800 families have also returned to their homes from the affected barangays.
00:29Before this, the residents were shot and kidnapped, and the attack happened four times in separate barangays.
00:38At the Special Municipal Peace and Order Council meeting of the LGU, Mayor Lester Sinsuat requested that the innocent residents be investigated, especially the victims.
00:51The PNP also informed those behind the alleged harassment.
00:57To prevent similar incidents, our police maneuver forces, the Regional Mobile Force Battalion and Provincial Mobile Companies, were established to avoid such incidents.
01:13According to our chief of police, he already coordinated with the barangay concerned.
01:21If they feel that they are being harassed, they will immediately respond.
