00:00To be honest, tonight trumps everything.
00:02I have been to three Olympics and, you know, Tokyo I was fortunate enough to come home
00:06with a few medals, but just as a heat swimmer, so coming out tonight, racing in front of
00:11that crowd, I don't think I've ever swum in front of a crowd as big or as loud before
00:15and the atmosphere was just electric and I just, I wanted to absorb all of that knowing
00:19that this will be my final Olympics and to stand on the podium is just such an honour.
00:25There was a lot of pressure on that team in Tokyo and we ended up walking away with a
00:28bronze which is such an honour and I was fortunate to be a part of that just in the
00:32heat and I think coming into tonight we also had a bit of pressure on us as reigning world
00:39champions and world record holders to get that gold and get the gold back from the last
00:44Olympics and, yeah, I'm really proud of how the girls swam and incredible job to the girls
00:49this morning as well and, you know, there are so many other incredible teams like USA
00:54and China, so to get up there and just race our hearts out was such an honour and getting
01:01the gold is, yeah, just getting the gold for Australia was awesome.
