00:00Let's talk about you in the GMA Gala.

00:06You look so stunning, really beautiful, glamorous.

00:10How do you prepare for this kind of event?

00:14For this, it will take about five months, the dress alone.

00:18Because it's a one of a kind couture dress.

00:21So basically, when it's couture, you see it in the runway,

00:25and they will make another dress just for you.

00:28And then in that region, you're the only one who can have that kind of dress.

00:31That's couture.

00:32So it takes five months, it's not a joke.

00:34So for me, I always have to think ahead about the special occasions.

00:39Of course, GMA for me is one of the best occasions of the year.

00:43Because everything we do outside, we want to bring it back to GMA.

00:47The honest truth, when it comes to fashion, I'm not as pressured.

00:51Because it's something that I love.

00:53I really love it.

00:55I feel like it comes natural to me to put things together.

00:58And I have my best team.

01:01So not at all pressure, it's more of I'm extremely excited.

01:05At the end of the day, it has to be me.

01:08Because I don't believe in not being authentic.

01:12You have to be as true as possible, the good and the bad.

01:15It's the same with what you wear.

01:17And you mentioned that fashion is your passion.

01:21So what do you consider as your biggest motivation when it comes to this?

01:25I feel like my biggest motivation, it's like painting, right?

01:28It's still very you.

01:30Because for fashion, it's something that, what are you accessorizing?

01:34What are you trying to make beautiful?

01:37It's not the clothes that you want to be beautiful.

01:40It's who you are.

01:41Your soul, your heart.

01:43You have to see what's inside what you're wearing.

01:47You have to believe in yourself.

01:51You can dress up a person, but if he doesn't have that or he has an interest, he won't shine.

01:56What is your ultimate goal when it comes to being a fashion icon?

02:01Self-expression for me.

02:03You know, you only live once.

02:04And I grew up in our industry that you were to play different roles in your life.

02:11But not necessarily yourself.

02:13You cannot constantly wear a mask and hide imperfections.

02:17So for me, that is the goal.

02:19To be out there.

02:20To hopefully, kahit mapano, maybe inspire somebody that's watching.

02:25To be able to be yourself and just really truly express that.

02:29In this industry, it's very hard to stay true to yourself sometimes.

02:33Especially when you have or surrounded by a lot of voices.

02:36But what should win is really your voice from within and who you are.

02:41Be yourself.

02:42Be proud.
