00:00Alright, hi people, it's Jester, I'm here to do an unboxing for you guys today of Paper
00:05Mario The Thousand Year Door Remake, Remaster, I call it a remaster personally, um, on Nintendo
00:13Switch from Nintendo, so yeah, I remember playing the original version of this game
00:18years ago on the GameCube with my brother and our babysitter at the time, did not completely
00:24finish the game because we couldn't beat the final boss, but, hey, still a good game
00:30from what I remember, and it's even better because, you know, one of Mario's companions,
00:37uh, Vivian, her trans status was restored in the English localization, and even some,
00:47like a couple lines I think were added, or slightly changed in both Japanese and English,
00:55so if anyone's complaining about that, um, it was originally there, and I've seen translations
01:02of the original Japanese script from back in 2004 from the original version of the game,
01:07it was always there, if you don't agree with that, you're an idiot, but yeah, um, like
01:15it's very easy to read from the dialogue, but yeah, so, Nintendo Switch, got all the
01:22characters right there, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, E for Everyone, side right here,
01:29and by the way, they took that shit out of the original English localization because
01:34that wasn't deemed family-friendly at the time, and, you know, transphobia, so yeah,
01:41and if you're a transphobe, you're an idiot, but yeah, comical adventure that pops off the page,
01:48description, and then it's in Spanish right there, characters, some screenshots, uh, flip,
01:57roll, and fold, chaotic stage battles, more things, transform to explore a pop-up book world,
02:04time your attacks to wow the crowd, and yeah, so, then you have all of this, play mode,
02:13everything, so yeah, so we have the inside here with a nice amount of artwork, um, and then the
02:21Switch cartridge right there, under that is the mouse character, I think that that's, actually
02:29that might be one of your companions that you get, I cannot remember though, so, in terms of
02:35some things that Nintendo did, so, for promotional stuff, Nintendo did, I think, a slipcover, or
02:45maybe alternate artwork, that was part of a promotional thing, where people could get them,
02:51I don't know how people got them, but like, as part of this promotion, people could get them,
02:57and it was the original artwork, uh, converted into a Switch case, or shrunk down into a Switch
03:03case, however, Nintendo, not wanting to leave people out, thankfully, um, put on their rewards
03:11program for the eShop, a downloadable PNG of the artwork, unfortunately, I don't know what kind of,
03:20what kind of paper to print these things on, so I just printed it out on regular paper, if anyone
03:25can tell me what kind of good quality paper I can print this out on, to go in this case, please let
03:34me know, but yeah, and I do have this just hanging out on my Discord server, link's in the description
03:40to that if you guys want to download it, but yeah, um, but yeah, so we have, uh, basically it's shrunk
03:47it down, I have the original GameCube version of this game, I just don't remember where I put it,
03:52um, yeah, I still have it, like, 20 years later, just have not played it in a while, in a very long while,
04:01it's in either a GameCube or a Wii, and I don't have either of those, because
04:06my mom sold off my Wii, er, my GameCube, when I didn't want her to, and then
04:14she did something with the Wii, I think, like, she either sold it, or like, something, that was after I got my Wii U, so, and I transferred all the
04:27saves and everything to it, um, which I wish there would be a similar thing for the Switch from the
04:33Wii U, but whatever, um, maybe, um, but yeah, so, you put it in there, and it fits the Switch, uh, casing pretty well, so yeah, you print it out on a piece of paper, you cut it out with scissors, and you're good to go, so, yeah, so, really not much else to say, so, link's in the description if you want to subscribe to my channel, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
