00:00The search for a woman kidnapped in Markham has taken place in the Coral Lakes.

00:06But first, here's a check on the forecast, a live shot.

00:10It's another hot and hazy day, and there's a heat warning in the GTA.

00:15You can really feel it the moment you step outside, and the humidity makes it feel even hotter out there.

00:20Jessica Smith is here with a look at the current conditions. Hey Jess.

00:23Hey, it is a spicy one out there. We're in that heat warning criteria today,

00:27and tomorrow we have daytime highs between 30 and 32, overnight lows between 20 and 22,

00:32and those humid X values today between 38 and 40, so it is going to be one of those days.

00:37Right around the Golden Horseshoe, Toronto included, we are under that heat warning today,

00:41and likely into the day tomorrow, and another one down towards Windsor.

00:44We are holding on to this muggy feeling throughout the entire day,

00:47but for the most part we are staying relatively dry. It's just a little cloudy out there.

00:52We are going to see a bit of a breezier start to the day.

00:55The day dissipates into the afternoon, but temperature-wise right now we're sitting at 27 already,

01:00and it feels like 35, and then only it's hotter as we head into that second half of our day.

01:04All that daytime heating takes place, and then we step into the afternoon where it feels into the upper 30s, low 40s.

01:10We are wrapping up July in an intensely hot way, and we step into the day tomorrow almost with an identical forecast.

01:17Looking ahead to the weekend, some unsettled weather is on the way.

01:20Not a wash by any means, but we'll keep a close eye on all of that.
