00:00Do you consider AJ Perzynski a serious candidate to manage the White Sox in 2025?
00:05Oh my god. Oh, don't make me kill myself. Is AJ managing the White Sox before me? I've burned a
00:15ballpark. Oh my god. I don't know. You know what's funny? I don't know who made that comment. I
00:22talked to AJ about it and I think, yeah, you know me, why not? AJ's a great baseball man. He's no
00:27doubt about it. AJ plays the game, knows the game very well, but it's a different way when you talk
00:34than when you do it. People think managing is easier. It's not. Anyway, listen, when you see
00:42managers in the big league, what they do or who's managing any particular ballclub, anybody in
00:49baseball thinks they can manage it. I look around like managers and when we play against them,
00:55sometimes I say, my god, how are these guys doing this? I'm not sitting here watching TV and talking
01:00about the game. You know what I mean? It's just, you know, but I think right now, I hope AJ's not
01:04putting himself in that position. I hope he's not. But hey, listen, again, AJ is a good baseball man.
01:13You know what he's doing. People grow up like I did. People grow up and I think AJ, you know me,
01:19years out of baseball, more older, I think he's got a better feeling about the game. But I can
01:26only remember AJ as a player. Maybe now he's pretty good for managing and he'd be a great manager. I
01:33don't doubt he's going to be a good one because he was in the game for a long time. It's like a
01:39president. When you run a country and you are the president, you have to be surrounded by good
01:47people, good coaches. Same way, you're surrounded by good coaches. Coaches go out there and do what
01:53they're supposed to do. I think it's easier for the manager to take a move or dictate something.
02:01And I think, yes, I think he can manage it. Of course he can manage it. A lot of managers right
02:08now I see, like, my god, I think AJ's got more experience than those guys. But I think AJ's
02:14better. He's great on TV, great in podcasts.
