Russia launches third stage of non-strategic nuclear exercises

Russia has announced the launch of the third stage of its exercises on the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

This stage of drills involves training with the Iskander-M missile systems and various aircraft, according to a statement from the Russian defense ministry.

In the first and second stages of the exercise, units from the Southern and Leningrad military districts, the Aerospace Forces, and the Navy prepared for the combat use of non-strategic nuclear weapons, the Russian defense ministry said.
