One of the highlights of the Olympics is the 100m final. U.S. sprinter Noah Lyles is the favorite for the men’s race.

He says he's in the form of his life and is ready to build on the bronze medal he won in the 200 metre at the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.

00:20That's led to claims that he's arrogant, but he told the Today Show he just believes in

00:26While the 27-year-old is serious about his ambitions, he likes to add fun to competing
00:30and has been showing up with Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
00:32The Japanese trading game reached peak popularity in the early 2000s and billions of the cards
00:38were sold.
00:39One of the white cards here that Noah has is the Blue Eyes White Dragon, which is one
00:42of the rarest cards out there.
00:45He's also quite the fashionista.
00:47He's been seen wearing pearls and nail polish both on and off the track, with fans taking
00:52to X to call him the King of the Red Carpet.
00:55And that's one of the reasons that Lyles was chosen to be the face of this commercial for
01:00NBC's Olympic coverage, joining forces with Emily Cooper from the popular Netflix series
01:05Emily in Paris as she picks out a uniform for him to wear at the Olympics.
01:10But beyond the sprinter showman, he's not afraid to show a vulnerable side.
01:14Lyles spoke out about his mental health struggles after getting bronze in Tokyo and revealed
01:18he'd been taking antidepressants.
01:20But he has also detailed his childhood struggle with severe asthma, something that he says
01:25made him even more determined to succeed.
01:28So what next for Lyles?
01:29Well, we know he wants Olympic gold, but he also wants Usain Bolt's crown as the fastest
01:34man of all time.
01:36And naturally, he's confident that he can get there.
