01:49Flooding in Metro Manila can be reduced, but it cannot be completely avoided, according to the DPWH.
01:55That is if the Flood Control Master Plan, which was approved in 2012, is completed.

02:11we will be addressing the debris and our settlers.
02:17More than 5,000 flood control projects were completed under the term of President Bombo Marcos,
02:23including those that were continued since the last administration.
02:27656 of these are in Metro Manila.
02:30A large part of the projects are being carried out to fix the drainage,
02:35which has been designed for several decades, and 70 percent of it has been repaired.
02:39The President also ordered more water impounding systems to be installed from high places.
