00:03The 2024 Paris Fashion Show was held with the presence of Pin collectors from several countries.

00:08Among them, Tanya Olik from Seattle, USA, who was willing to spend her own pocket money to fly to Paris.

00:15While enjoying the hot summer Olympics, she also took a holiday in Paris as a place to exchange pins.

00:21It started at the London Fashion Show 2012 and all this was done out of interest until she was named Madam Pin.

00:28The main reason is it's just fun. I make little connections with people.

00:34And it's easier now, but in 2012 when I started, there were no translation programs.

00:40So to make a connection with you, if you didn't speak English, I had to trade you a pin.

00:45Because you wanted to and I wanted to. So that's why I started.

00:49They're very pretty. I enjoy putting them on my wall and looking at them.

00:55Since when and how many pins do you have right now?

01:02I probably have about 3,000 pins, but many of them were because I want to trade them.

01:08I have things on my wall from London and from Rio, which were what I attended.

01:15I have a few that I traded for, for Tokyo and Beijing, because I love their art.

01:23But I could not go. So I brought about 1,000 pins with me.

01:28Some of them I give away, some of them I keep to trade.
