Whole of UK 'deeply shocked' by deadly knife attack, says PM Keir Starmer

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says the "whole country is deeply shocked" as a knife attack in northern England killed three children and critically injured five others. A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested and is being questioned over the attack in Southport, near Liverpool.

00:12for everybody in the whole country in saying our thoughts and condolences with
00:17the victims, their families, their friends and the wider community and it's almost
00:24impossible to imagine the grief that they're going through and the trauma
00:28that they're going through. But I do also think about the emergency responders
00:32because they have responded to an awful incident today and I want to thank them
00:38for the professionalism that they have shown in doing so.
