00:00The Department of Budget and Management of the Camara National Expenditure Program

00:06approved a budget of Php 6.352 trillion for 2025.

00:12Compared to the 2024 budget of Php 5.768 trillion,

00:17this is more than 10 percent higher.

00:22The biggest investment in the education sector is Php 977.6 billion.

00:31In the Department of Public Works and Highways, they have Php 900 billion.

00:36This is smaller than the Php 1 trillion in the 2024 budget.

00:41Next is the Department of Health, Interior and Local Government, and National Defense.

00:49Confidential and Intelligence Funds are still included in the budget.

00:54This is less than Php 10.286 billion compared to the approved Php 12.378 billion this year.

01:02Confidential Funds are asking for Php 4.368 billion

01:07while the Intelligence Funds are asking for Php 5.917 billion.
