00:00Badrul Hisham Shaharid, or Cik Gubad, a member of the UN Security Council,

00:07was in Rehman for two days to assist the investigation into his case related to the corruption issue

00:12involving the highest officer of the Navy in the King of Malaysia.

00:17The government of Rehman was released by Magistrate Irza Zulaika Rohanuddin.

00:23Lawyer Rafiq Rashid said his son was in Rehman to assist three investigations under Section 203 of the Penal Code,

00:32Section 8 of the Official Secrets Act 1972, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998

00:41for giving false information using telecommunications networks.

00:46Rafiq informed that the investigators asked for Rehman for four days,

00:51but after hearing the arguments of both parties, the court classified Badrul Hisham as the informant

00:58who must be protected from the law and should not be subjected to criminal or civil action.

01:06Therefore, the court granted Rehman two days.

01:10If there is no problem, Cik Gubad will be released tomorrow.
