00:00The Presidential Task Force on Media Security successfully carried out the Visayas Leg of their Regional Media Safety Summit.
00:08On the topic of empowering press freedom and media relations,
00:11members of the media and information officers of various government and academic agencies participated.
00:17The Presidential Task Force on Media Security Executive Director Undersecretary Paul Gutierrez
00:23discussed the five pillars of protecting the media against violations of their rights,
00:29legal and constitutional basics in upholding freedom of opinion and expression,
00:34and measures against libel and cyber libel,
00:37as well as the guidance of the police and the media,
00:40and upholding social media content.
